Re: Interesting.

Gob is big news. Just what we've been asking for, genuine competition for fullback and half back. I hope we are searching for at least one centre and a couple of props. I think somehow we have to get GOB evalds trueman Richardson into the starting 13/17.too much salary cap for one of them not to pl...

Most one sided officiating I can remember. Even the video ref seems unable to see what's going on.

Re: Why have we fallen so fast

There's a lot of criticism over recruitment and retention of players and whilst I'm not in a position to know anything of our financial situation it's clear that we aren't competing on a level playing field with the 'top' clubs. If you're a player looking for a club and are offered exactly the same ...

Re: Powell

Powell as had 2/3 crap hands dealt him past 3/4 weeks. Not playing then playing at short notice. Having to play 2 games in 3 days, that’s bloody ridiculous in this day and age for any sports men/women. Where as the safety of the players gone. I hope daryll stays, let’s see what players we bring in ...

Re: Powell

I always thought people in Cas knew RL but these comments about replacing DP make me wonder. The club is not on par with the likes of Wigan, Saints or even Leeds & with their facilities and the likelihood of silverware they get first pick of the best players at all levels. If a player was offere...

Re: Jeremy Corbyn new Labour leader Lol

History lesson old bean. Or wasn't History one of your 2 O Levels? Just an example of the Tories always wanting people to 'know their place'. And Ramsay MacDonald said some appalling things about Jews. Just an example of the Labour Party always being anti Semitic. See? Somebody will always out do y...

Re: Jeremy Corbyn new Labour leader Lol

'...the hard left line is to tax on a proportional basis, the more you have, the more tax you pay.' Interesting debate, I usually don't get involved in political debate because nobody ever changes their mind but the above quote is interesting. If there was a flat rate of tax the above would be true....

So do I. I’d much rather watch a team of home grown players than one made up of players bought in with no real allegiance to the town.

Re: Junior moors

I used to go watch Liverpool every other week in the 70s and 80s Bob Paisley was assistant manager or manager during most of that time and he had a incredible knack of knowing when a player had reached his peak often not offering new contracts to international players to the fury of the fans but al...

Re: Powell after Salford

Powell has used the “some players not good enough to be in the team” excuse earlier in season and still didn’t make changes back then I think he's making the point that either on current form or ability certain players would not ordinarily be considered good enough to be in the starting 17 but they...

Re: Leeds away

With the team we have I think the way to win this game is to keep turning them around & try camp down in their 20. We haven't got the backs to score from distance like we did in 2017 so force them to defend their line with multiple drop outs. Trueman's short kicking will be needed.

Even with their current injury list this squad is stronger than ours. We also don't seem to have the mental toughness to scrap and fight. Re: Cheating and the play of ball

Its embarrasing it really is,i blame the refs and the rfl to let it happen,i thought they had already brought a rule in to stamp it out but that seems to have been forgotten about if there is.its not good for the sport as its just making a mokery of it when players are making it so obvious when doi...

Re: Who else do we need?

Potentially a top class winger and Gale back. Alternatively (and a bit controversial), another full back. I like Peanut as a player but aren't entirely sure that he suits Powells/our recent style. We've played a best rugby with Dorn or Hardaker at full back. Both are/were extremely quick, athletic ...

Hudds no.9 has done that now 2 weeks on the trot where hes passed the ball into the player on purpose and both times gets awarded with a penalty.its disgusting how u can blantent cheat and get rewarded for it. McShane gets a quick play the ball spots a defender trying to get back on side and makes ...

Re: Cheating and the play of ball

There was an incident in the 2nd half where Clare (I think) went to pass the ball from dummy half & a Hudds player was standing in the way in an offside position. Clare held back the pass & moved so he could pass the ball without it hitting the opposition player. We might be crap but at leas...
