Re: IMG proposal

Whilst I accept that our ground has issues, we have a development plan for our ground. We’ve had one for more years than I can remember! We’ve fobbed people off for years about ground improvements, new stadiums etc…. yet, still here we are. Actual work needs to commence within the next 12 months ma...

Re: Stadium

Not wanting to get into argument with anyone on here, but as a Wakefield fan, I posted extensive documents and information on the Trinity forum particularly the past 2 years. From what I’ve read on this forum it would appear your Directors have come to an agreement with the developers for a similar ...

Re: Stadium

Will both leagues get the same money if not all they are doing is calling the championship SL 2 Didn’t say on the program, but it seems only SL1 and SL2 will receive Sky and other revenue monies, nothing for clubs outside SL 1& 2. It said that there would be redundancy for the current SL staff,...

Re: Wakey Up Next

We will have to watch Lino on Thursday he's a rate box of tricks shut his kicking game down that would be top of my tip sheet Lino seems to receive a foot injury today v Wigan, Pitts left the field late on with an injury, another couple of players limping at the end, and to rub salt in, Tom Johnsto...

Re: Stadium

I believe they look how to improve sports and how it is run I watched the new episode this week of the full 80 minutes, there was a discussion on the re alignment, the new group that’s involved apparently wants a 2 x 10 super league, up and running for the 2024 season. The decision on the alignment...

Re: Wakey Up Next

I think Trinity haven’t beaten Tigers in the last 18 games between the two clubs. History shows that some under performing clubs kick start their season with a win against Trinity. You should be confident of a win come Thursday night.

Re: Stadium

A section from this week’s Wakefield express. The last paragraph John Minards confirmation that All funding is now in place. As a previous trinity poster says, we need local derbies to generate interest and revenues, I’m sure the Tigers directors will take heart from the developments at trinity, jus...

Re: New stadium

It’s highly likely that the entire concept of the development will entirely change. Warehousing & distribution or housing would be my guesses. Both would generate enough capital to offset the investment made to us through the 106, but both could take years to come back to the planning committee...

Re: Wheldon Road

Called it earlier in the thread. Now the fun starts and we have to fight for the very best deal possible. How much extra could we get then I didn't think it would be anything like what's been planned for ... Pretty much guaranteed that it won’t be the full amount but what that amount is depends on ...

The RFL Board has approved three changes to the Laws to apply for the 2022 season which were recommended by the Laws Committee: the return of scrums; the scrapping of the ball steal rule; and a requirement for injured players to be removed from the field of play for treatment.

What do Castleford fans think about this

Tweeted last night. I think SL will never look the same in 2 years time, it’s likely there won’t be the 5 yorkshire clubs in the new Super League 1. Mat Shaw has just tweeted A proposal has been tabled to increase Super League to 14 teams in 2022, followed by a huge restructure that would see Super ...
