Re: Jack ashworth
Can’t comment on law, I don’t have a clue. Don’t worry - Hudds has show that you can still comment if you don’t have a clue. He has to have the last word, you’ll get used to it!!! He’s said he won’t comment further, so we’ll soon see if you’re right! You were right! Right on cue and without fail No...

On topic, I think our recruitment is done but good luck to Ashworth, good player and hope he sorts his off field problems

Re: 2021
We won’t sign any more players, GOB and Evalds is it and club is skint, will be promoting some youngsters and Hodgson fee and saved salary from Moors etc will go to improved deals and keeping club running. Sad times

Re: Club Ideas
The club needs more professionalism through and through which would be a good start to proceedings. I remember being Club of the Year when the MacDonalds were there and we had sky divers and decent music and a good vibe and a good side on the field. This year we have no showers at training, a portak...

Re: Squad for 2021
Pivot will be Jamie Shaul - out of contract and Wells has been talking him up big time on Sky. SL forward who's mates with Junior & Jesse could be any number of players, the NRL forward no clue at all. SL forward who’s mates with the boys and off-contract looks likely to be Ben Murdoch-Masila, ...

Re: Doom Merchants
Thought Matautia and Olpherts looked good, liked Hepi and thought Blair went well in second row,Richardson,Trueman and McShane ran the game and Eden did really well in both attack and defence. Forwards were great,Millo,Smith,Milner and Massey were well on top. There will be tougher tests and we had 1...

Re: Luke Gale
I actually think Richardson is going to be a great player, i would swap him for gale but id be happy with him as our back up half behind gale n Trueman I must admit I don’t understand the negativity around Danny Richardson other than the usual negativity and whinging, I think he was superb last yea...

Russell Packer sounds as though he will be available, appreciate he will be expensive but would love to see a big, no nonsense forward like him especially with Watts and Millo and Moors and Jesse!!!

Zeb Taia, Adam Swift, Josh Jones and Robert Lui look appealing, probably not all of them mind with our budget!!

Re: Trueman
I personally think there could be some fatigue in there as well, the bank holiday programme takes it out of all the players but ideally Jake would not have played the amount of rugby he has over the last two seasons and would have been rested sometimes so he isn’t fresh every game.

Re: In desperate need of a clear out
I doubt as a club we could afford marquee signings at present but I don't understand why Powell would be so against it. We already have a squad of players where everyone is on differing salaries so I don't see where club ethos or culture play a part in it. Without speaking to Powell personally, I d...

Re: Wigan on Saturday
Egodo vs Hankinson may be an interesting battle. Looks a well balanced side all things considered. I would have to disagree and think they look considerably stronger than us. We could be in for a tough couple of hours and I fear the worst. A surprise win today would go down as one of our best ever ...
