They aren't and never were. They are having to borrow Catalan players this season to stay competitive.

Re: Challenge Cup Draw

Plenty of fans in ground Nice sunny day No injuries or bans That's the best we can hope for lol That's the way I see it. Wigan are going for the quadruple this season and it would take a brave man to bet against them so far. We won't win, but I'm hoping we make it as hard for them as possible.

Re: Challenge Cup Draw

The club need to be putting on a deal for this.

Hopefully get it on a Saturday afternoon, get the fans in. Wigan will bring a good mob over now they're doing well these days. There's not a chance in hell do we win, but at least make it an uncomfortable afternoon for them, make them work for it.

Re: away at Batley

Is the draw on telly or just on radio? Radio would make it easier to keep Wigan & Saints apart. Live on BBC Radio 5Live at 8:45pm tonight. We're ball 1. The the other 7 clubs will be praying for us. Realistically, the only team we stand any chance against is Leigh at home, but even then, it's a...

Re: Next Home Game Its Leeds Leeds Leeds

It's at home and I'd fancy a decent crowd down. We always seem to raise our game against Leeds down't Lane, no matter how bad we're playing during the year. There's something about a night game against them them under the lights that sets the mood. That said, they are a better team these days than t...

Our reserves would beat all but maybe 2 or 3 of the league 1 teams.

I would fancy a few of the top NCL teams to beat most of the teams in league 1.

Re: Sylvester Namo, Nixon Putt n Dan Hindmarsh

A game for Newcastle is better than no game at all. You'd think that, but in this case no. I went along to the game, I've got a few pals who play for Hunslet and wanted to see how our trio got on. The standard was a disgrace. They'd have been better going to Lock Lane and playing in the NCL. I'd ho...

Lingard has promised 3 'marquee' signings for next season as he has been assured he will have money to spend. What's everyone's thoughts on this?

there are fans and supporters on here those who are 100% behind the club then there are a good number that love to be supporters when we are winning not winning they go out of their way to to try and pull the club down when things are not going well, i suppose this happens at every club, be nice to...

Re: Challenge Cup Draw

We beat Batley by 20+. Let's not kid ourselves here. We have been absolute garbage recently, but we've plenty enough to beat any Championship team. Although, out of all the ties, this is where the upset would be. Uphill at their place is a leveller for any team, but we'll see this game out comfortab...
