Re: Jamie Ellis

Castleford Tigers have no plans to bring in a replacement for Jamie Ellis. As revealed in League Express last week, Ellis has left the West Yorkshire side to return to Hull Kingston Rovers. He has signed a one-year deal with Tony Smith’s side, and returns to the club he helped to win promotion back...

Re: Wigan

As much as I dislike Wigan, this whole situation just doesn't sit well with me. Jackson Hastings owes his career to Super League, he even says without it, he was close to walking away from the game. If he knew his intentions were to go back home to play NRL and be close to his mother, then he should...

Re: Krus leeming

I still think Leeds have tapped him up. He seemed happy at the Giants from the outside and was probably their MVP last season, Leeds then make it public they're in the market for an hooker and rate him highly, then all of a sudden, he's unhappy and want's away.

Re: 2020 Squad

If Wigan gel pretty quick then IMO are the team to beat for next year. Saints will always be up there with the calibre of their squad. People seem to think Hull will do something this year, they have the players, but I still think Radford is holding them back with his style of play, a good coach cou...

Re: Olpherts

How do we all think he will do for us ? What are his positives and negatives? Will he be a starter for us ? Positives - Fast, agile and quick off the mark. Negatives - Still raw. Not played enough SL to get a true gauge of what standard he really is. Won't be a starter, he'll be 4th in the line. Af...

Re: Pre Season watch

The jury is still out for me with Blair , in his defence we did not leak the amount of trys down that side as we did before he came , his attacking flair we hardly ever saw, 2/3 trys he scored over 16 weeks , was it the foot injury he sustained before he came over that was holding him back, with a ...

Re: 2020 Squad

There are a good half a dozen players in the squad who can't afford injury hit seasons, otherwise they have to be moved on.

I would also absolutely take a top 5 finish right now. This season could be the most competitive yet.

Re: Krus leeming

Read that he's handed it in due to being unsettled with the news Leeds were interested in him. If I was Huddersfield I wouldn't be happy with Leeds at all.

Why Toronto? I'd of thought a rival or St Helens, the only other team he's played for.

Re: test side

Selfishly, I'm glad Trueman didn't play. He comes back fresh and not only that, but I feel Hodgson would of stifled him anyway from dummy half. Apart from maybe Daz Clark, can't think really think of anyone who can come back from that tour, with any credibility. Hastings, Widdop, Hill, McGillvary ma...
