Re: Woman’s team
Ladies team dropped out of challenge cup as they knew they wouldn't be competitive, which is no shame. There's no point turning up and getting battered, better to grow the team in a.l lower division and try to improve

Re: Reserve Teams
There is a big gap between top and bottom of league 1. I think the reserves would be in the top half of league 1, maybe 3rd / 4th

Re: Sylvester Namo, Nixon Putt n Dan Hindmarsh
Lingard mentioned it last week I think. As it's the start of the season and Batley have started well with no injuries, they want to use their own players for now, otherwise some would have gone there

Re: Sylvester Namo, Nixon Putt n Dan Hindmarsh
I think he's a young prop? He did well against much more experienced opposition. The main difference between the two sides apart from experience was fitness. Newcastle hung in for quite a while until they started tiring. I think they'll get a couple of wins this season though if they stick at it, wh...

Re: Sylvester Namo, Nixon Putt n Dan Hindmarsh
I was there with my old man and we didn't get that impression of the game at all. Nixon Putt played the 80 and did well, my only reservation is that he has to try and offload every time he has the ball, resulting in some breaks, but also knock ons etc. Namo and Hindmarsh played about 50 mins each, w...

Re: Friday its Huddersfield
He's a 25 year old prop we signed last month, he's English but been playing in Queensland cup in Aus. It was always going to be a bit before he played as their pre season is later than ours and we brought him in late

Re: New Signing
I think it was Kibula who warmed up, which was strange given Robb was the 18th man. Unlikely that we will see Albert, as I don’t think he is able to achieve the fitness levels that are necessary for SL, hope he proves me wrong as we could do with size in the middle. It's always likely that a 19th m...

Re: Pre season.
I thought most did well really. So hard to take a lot from a friendly, Keighley were dead on their feet with 25 left so we then ran riot. I thought Tasipale, Luis Johnson and Josh Hodgson all went well, Macca and Horne both looked lively, and Sam Hall was good.

They did, was a good performance against a strong Hull team but they just had a bit more in the forwards

Apparently we have, he's only at Warrington till the end of the season, at which point, if we're still in Super League, he comes to us

Re: Watts, again.
Seen a video where roby does the exact same thing and nothing done about that,so no consistency in my opinion And that's the problem, consistency. It looks like they're going through Watts every move to find where he does something wrong, but if they applied that same rigour to every tackle there'd...

Re: Saints next
I agree that the defence was pretty good as Saints constantly put pressure on. We had no good field position at all, there were 3 or 4 sets where we kicked from our 20, so they're nearly starting sets on half way. We could have played until midnight and not scored. Saints weren't great but didn't ne...

Think it will be a strange one, they're trialling new rules, which resulted in over 50 penalties in the Rhinos v Bulls game last night

Re: reserves
I went to it Gateman. It was a pretty poor game played in awful conditions. Sam Hall was the standout player and scored a deserved try. Brad Martin looked good as well, and Jason QQ made decent yards when he had the ball. Toby Mallinson and Francis Coggle got 2 tries each, with Mallinson on kicking ...
