Re: Cardboard fans

Be a bit embarrassing for the pie eaters when the cardboard cut outs start leaving ten minutes before the end. :D

Re: Rankin

Mata'utia says in league express " I'll be staying at centre ,Powelly has a plan for full back , I'm sweet with it too I've got a big job at the moment I really enjoy it I like it a lot " Hopefully his plan isn’t Eden or Turner Might be Niall Evalds  Tony Gigot??? The question marks sum Gigot...

Re: Best overseas player

For longevity and consistency Millo would have to be a standout,Nikau was exceptional,I always had a soft spot for Bartrim who even though not in his prime oozed class but for all his personal failings Rangi Chase is the only one I've ever seen set up a try with a pass that if I hadn't seen I'd have...

Re: Rankin

Wouldn't waste the brass on Gigot, Even if Evalds doesn't come early Olpherts who for me was good before the lockdown has played full back and we have Hodgson and Turner in the wings.

Re: A Trophy before 2024

Be quite happy to point you in the right direction once the markets are up and running again, bit slow at the moment as my erstwhile employer furloughed me faster than Hull got rid of Lee Radford once the rugby stopped. Clearly my couple of hundred quid a month was making a hole in their £1.9 billion...

Re: A Trophy before 2024

...the feeling I get, and I’m sure plenty of others too given the rugby knowledge in our town, is that the absolute burning desire of Daryl Powell is to win a competition with Castleford before he takes the final (?) steps upwards to his pinnacle; to coach the national side. As far as Daryl is conc...

Re: 16 million loan to rugby league

Well done to all concerned it's a shot in the arm for the game and will go some way to securing its future. Will not go down the cynical line and have faith in the "bigwigs",many of whom have already taken a hit salary wise,to ensure the funds get to where they're needed, anything else would be tota...

Re: Question

I dont remember a window being reserved in anticipation but I do remember actually seeing it being displayed after we beat Salford so that would have been 1969 in a special window in G.T.Smiths.

Re: How are we going to help the club survive?

For my part I'll happily put away what I would have spent on tickets during this suspension and give it to the club, to lose a club that's been a big part of my families life for generations would be heartbreaking, every little helps. #COYF

Re: What to do when games go behind closed doors?

Looking at tonights game Hull won't have to worry about large assemblies of people at their games 😂It's like watching a car crash, you know you shouldn't be watching but you can't help it! I'm not sure how many ways there are to shoot yourself in the foot but Hull have done them all tonight and inve...

Re: Saints up next

Saint's is almost impossible to predict a win for us, it is a rare occurrence over the years. Depends which teams turn up I guess, we put ourselves in to a position to beat Wire by hanging in the game, if we do the same maybe we get a bit of luck that gets us over the line. Tough ask, I would make ...

Re: Warrington can we do it

Some pretty strong adjectives being trotted out tonight..."crap","average", "clueless" wouldn't agree with any of them, it was a grind and hard fought, coming up short was tough and while we were a distance away from perfect I think Hudds and Notts offered a more realistic perspective of what happene...

Re: Feki

Be a shame if these rumours are confirmed, a fit Feki would add something to the squad. Having said that Clare has impressed me,not just with his finishing but with his willingness to offer himself up to make the hard yards. He's riding high in the Opta stats in many of the categories and was averag...

Re: HKR up Next

Weather set fair for tonight,a dry but chilly 3 degrees, sadly not here in Norfolk, snowing steadily so heading north looking doubtful be chewing my fingers fingernails in front of the telly, but the bets are down and extremely confident we will win by more than the eight points on offer earlier in t...
