Re: Attendance trends

Surely the Environment Health Department should be informed of the subject of toilet facilities.

Re: Cas tigers Ladies

Gary Schofield was coach at Redcar RUFC. He was useless at that as well, got the sack after one season.

Re: Attendance trends

Before the advent of Super League most home matches for Cas were played on a Friday as I used to drive straight from work in Middlesbrough, park my car at my wife’s Auntie in her ginnel in Queen Street just off Wheldon Road, walk to the match and afterwards have some supper there before driving back...

Re: Cas tigers Ladies

Cas have lost 32 matches, drawn3 (2 of which were in the first 2 seasons in the Group stages of the BBC Floodlit Competition) and won only 11 matches matches in knockout competitions, 4 of which were also in the BBC Floodlit Competition.

Re: Magic Weekend

Is this a first, Super League actually listening to what the fans want?

Re: Featherstone

You’re right tigerfeat, I wasn’t there. As I live in Redcar, am 81 years old, and have prostate cancer, I don’t drive to Cas anymore.

Re: Featherstone

Congratulations to Featherstone from Redcar. Fair does they have reached the playoff final by beating 3 of the teams above them which I said they might, and whose not to say they won’t beat Toronto either. I’ve been a Cas fan since 1965 and Fev were the first opponents I saw at Wheldon Road in a Yor...

Re: Announcements

I agree that Grant Millington has been a great servant to the club, but it’s sad and embarrassing to see him strapped up and hobbling around the field. I hope he retires now, another season would be one too far. Another Andy Lynch scenario?

Re: Salford Game!!!

With the amount of support Cas are taking to Salford it will be at least 25% of the attendance. Salford will also feel a tad batterered and bruised from last week’s match. Also Featherstone having won their two playoff matches from 5th position (albeit in the Championship) might prove to be an incen...

Re: Warrington Away - Play offs - Thursday Night

A lot has been said about our play is not attractive anymore. Well I reckon it is still a darn sight more attractive than any other Super League team excepting Saints at least until we get near the opponents try line when we always try a grubber kick. Ok, it worked on Thursday, but how many times be...

Re: Free travel to Salford

Salford and Wigan players looked shot after last night’s game. At the moment I can’t see either of them beating Cas or Saints next week.

Re: Warrington Away - Play offs - Thursday Night

I hope Salford lose tonight as I think we can beat them next week. They were fortunate to beat Hull KR last week and a gruelling game at Wigan with a quicker turnover following a defeat should give Cas a decided advantage. Then with the return of McMeeken, Massey and Sene-Lefao we’ll have a better c...

Did anyone notice that at the final whistle last night how pleased Luke Gale was as he shook Darryl Powell’s hand? Or was that just a red herring?

Reorganisation of Super League

This has been the most competitive Super League season of all time expect for the dominance of St.Helens. Any one of 4 teams could still reach the Grand Final to play the Saints who I feel with home advantage in the Semifinal should account for any of the other 4 teams, but at Old Trafford anything ...
