Re: Paul Mcshane
McShane has been great for us but if he goes I’d feel similar about him as I do about Gale. Both of them have their best days behind them. Gale has had practically two years out, while McShane appears on the slide if last season’s performances are anything to go by.

Re: Salford Game!!!
It’ll be a tough game - no doubt about that. Pressure is on Salford though, as others have said here. I also wonder how much the Wigan game took out of them. As for us, it’s remarkable we’re two wins from Old Trafford after the season we’ve had. Credit again to DP and the players. DP has said all se...

Absolutely awesome news. One of the best props in the world. Sure to be in the Great Britain squad. Just the news we needed ahead of the visit of the Dastardly Loiners.

Re: Have we....?
We’ve certainly got it in us to make the top 5. We can beat anyone in a one-off game apart from Saints. We desperately need to improve though. We look brittle in defense and toothless in attack. Missing Gale badly, along with a full back who joins the attacking line effectively. I love Pete but we’v...

Re: 19 for Hull
Absolute garbage. That first 20 was shocking. We’re terrible under the high ball on both sides and have nothing to offer in attack. There was enough quality out there to have a real go at Hull but we are severely lacking in confidence. Pete kicking another two efforts out on the full...FFS! Egodo......

Re: First loss - no big deal
He didn't single out Clare, he said the right edge, it was just easier to bring Clare off last night with the bench options He did a bit in the presser. He said: ‘I took James Clare off at half time as I don’t think his decision making was good enough and I thought some of the tries could have been...

Re: First loss - no big deal
Agreed - no big deal.
The way Powell criticised Clare after the game makes me think there’s a new signing on the way. Everyone knows our right edge is our weak point - firm that up and we’ve got a chance of silverware this season.

Re: Daryl Powell
The fact we're now fighting for major honours every season is down to DP - his coaching, recruitment and bringing young players through. I hope he stays on as I really believe he can win a major trophy with us. We just have to get better during big games. Last night was poor - just like the 2017 GF....

Re: How will we go?
My team for the semi-final (assuming Holmes isn't fit): 1. Mata'tuia 2. Clare 3. Wardle (harsh on Webster, but I think he looks a little suspect defensively, hence I'd go for Wardle) 4. Shenton 5. Eden 6. Trueman 7. Gale 8. Massey 9. McShane 10. Watts 11. JSL 12. McMeekan 13. Milner Roberts Millingt...

Re: Next game, our neighbours.
I can see Gale playing against Wakey and being rested against Saints. If 3rd is confirmed after the next round of matches - and the game against Saints is a dead rubber - can see both clubs fielding weakened teams. It'd be a shame from the competition's point of view but understandable with the semi...

Re: Finishing position
It's likely we'll have a trip to Wigan in the semi-final. Hopefully this is the year the away semi-finalists finally come through in the Super 8s. Really wouldn't be surprised to see 3rd v 4th at Old Trafford. Wane's last game for Wigan...remember back in 99 when we spoiled Murray's last game at Lee...

Re: Jake Webster
He's been a great servant for the Tigers. Hope he can leave on a high with another appearance at Old Trafford. He'll always be remembered as a key player in our 2017 team. The timing of his departure seems about right though. Not sure how many games we'd get out of him in 2019. We need to look to th...

I assume it's because when Sky cover a game Tigers TV will take a feed from them which includes the commentary...so no need to add Harvey, Dave and Mick's commentary.

Re: Full Back
Bottom line is this: Eden should never play full back. And after his post-match comments, I'd be surprised if Powell gives him the chance again. With hindsight, Clare should have played full back on Friday, or even Turner. Eden is awesome when he gets a yard of space; something he rarely gets playi...

Re: Super 8s and top 2
We should make the four with something to spare. Hudds looking very strong but it will take a monumental effort to make the play-offs. The next two are key for us - both home games we should be winning. Four points and we'll be almost there. I wouldn't fancy Saints away due to our abysmal record. Ho...

Re: MOVING FORWARD
The season isn't over, and I'm certainly not writing off the top four just yet. Yes, last night was shocking. Saints' first try set the tone and we never really recovered. Saints found it far too easy to get over the advantage line and our attitude was poor in pretty much all areas. I don't think we...

Re: TODAYS GAME
Superb yesterday; couldn't fault anyone. McShane - wow. He keeps getting better, which is hard to believe. Outstanding performance. Foster is turning out to be bargain of the century. Word for Milner too - excellent again. It's a long time since I've seen our pack batter a team like we did yesterday...
