Re: Half back

Matty Smith is, and has always been the most overrated player in SL, hence why hes been at so many clubs. Hes not even an average Championship half back, and hardly has time on his side. I'm hoping weve learned from our mistakes over the last couple of seasons, when it comes to wasting cap space, pu...

Re: Jamie Ellis

Love Rugby League are just forum surfers, if I read in their column it was dark outside, I'd still go and check. Lazy journalism with no substance to most of there articles.

Re: Kyle Wood

Is it April 1st, or just the start of silly season. Kyle Wood is not fit to lace the boots of McShane. Dont quite know where these rumours come from but they do make me shake my head and wonder what people have in their lives in the close season. McShane is a class 9, hence the 5 yr deal, Wood is a ...

Re: Announcements

I would agree with the consensus that Peanut isn’t up to anything for us. Millo is a hero but he’s too ripe now. One thing I will be lobbying for incessantly over the coming weeks is for the desperate need to rejuvenate the squad. Hard decisions need to be made. Rankin has been excellent recently f...

Re: Millo to retire?

I've had the privilege of being in Millo's company at some social functions, and can say you will not meet a nicer guy, who loves the club n community, more than him. He has often played patched up this yr, and the reason for the heavy strapping on his arm is because a couple of seasons ago he snapp...

Re: Gale

If he goes, plough the fee, into the wages of a marquee scrum half or stand off, there are no British half backs available that would be an improvement on Gale, so therefore the marquee signing would have to be from OS, where let's face it, all the decent half backs come from.

Wigan away, subbed at HT, for me, not up to consistently performing at level required for SL.

Thought Blair, Holmes & Rankin looked v good, the less said about Ellis the better, not even Championship standard.

Re: Gale

If gale goes I'd go for dec Patton. If gale does go though will be really poor by cas imo Absolute joke, Patton is a Championship player at best, if you dont believe me, ask 95% of the Warrington fans. He gets rinsed on their forum every week, the reason being...... hes absolutely garbage, and shou...

Re: Monday's rugby papers

Found myself agreeing with Flow twice this month now, hes on the money, theres nothing wrong with our pack, decent defence and makes good metres, I'm not sure what games Fumper has been watching this season. The 6 n 7 are the problem are the head scratcher this season, no direction , no drive, no cr...

Re: We cannot afford to be shortsighted

For me, we are now paying the price for mediocre (at best) recruitment since 2017. That year we had the ideal platform to set the foundations for this club to be competing with the best in the competition for yrs to come. But due to over inflated contract renewals, & mind boggling poor recruitment ,...

And I'll be honest, I'd take my golf clubs out and take Milner as well, and I could even squeeze Oliver Holmes in.
