14 team SL for 2023

Guaranteed if the bottom two end up as Toulouse and Leeds. They have been banging on about it for years now, and it does make sense. Play every other team twice, get rid of the "loop" fixtures, keep "magic weekend" and you end up with the same 27 fixtures as now. It won`t happen ...

Re: [Match Discussion] Leeds Easter Monday

I thought we would have targeted their youngsters much more and then exploited their faltering confidence. We were very poor but can't imagine what these quick turn around takes on players and doesn't do the game any favours. That being said we won and are now above a team coached by our former coa...

If we play like we did today, Saints will get 80 pts on Friday.

Re: Wakey Up Next

Still no Feki.
In January we were told - back in March.
In March we were told- back in April.

Can we please have the true situation. Is he still weeks away? Months away? Years away?

Re: [Match Discussion] Leeds (A) cup

I swallow does not make the summer. We beat a very poor leeds team. Win our next 4 and then we can start believing we are improving from our awful start. We do look a better side though with an almost full strength squad to pick from.

Re: Bad day

We are in big trouble!! Todays results just shows how poor we are. Warrington beat us, then Wakefield go there and win. Toulouse lose narrowly to Wigan last week and today beat the Champions. Without a massive improvement, we could well be bottom of the table and out of the cup in 15 days time. Rele...

Re: [Match Discussion] Pie Eaters on Thursday

It was stated in January that Feki would be back playing in March. He can come in for Olpherts and have a team of Evalds, Feki, Malmo, Turner, Eden, O`Brian, Trueman, Watts, McShane, Massey, 2 of Lawler, Sutcliffe, Blair, Edwards, Milner or Griffin, Westerman. Leave the two "carthorses" si...

Re: Challenge Cup 6th Rd. Draw

A tough draw!!
Unless we improve massively, it will be season over for us by Easter. Out if the cup and bottom or 2nd bottom in SL by the middle of April.

Re: Challenge Cup 6th Rd. Draw

We need an "easy" draw, or it will be another loss and season over by Easter. With a "tough" draw, we will be out of the cup and bottom or second bottom by then.

Re: [Match Discussion] Hull FC (Home)

Most of us have been shouting all season for Eden to be in the team. When he eventually gets picked, he gets a hat-trick and we win our first match. QED!!
Feki & Eden on the wing, Turner & Malmo in the centre, is our best line-up. Forget the two ex-Hull guys, both far to slow.

Re: [Match Discussion] Hull FC (Home)

Last nights results don`t bode well for us. Warrington beaten & Hull KR stuffed, and we have already lost to both of them.

Sad to say, but with our appalling home record - is it one win at WR since 2020?, but I am backing Hull with a Cas start of 40 points.

Unless we get a Championship side in the cup round, our first win this season will be against Toulouse. Heaven help us if we lose that one as well!!

Re: [Match Discussion] Hull KR Away

We saw two of the bottom three teams last night, the other being Toulouse, and we got stuffed by a poor side. It`s not looking good. Two wins all season, both against Toulouse??

Both of them are like cart-horses. Far to slow. We now have no pace in our backs. We need Eden in asap.

Sorry to be so negative and pessimistic, but if we perform like last week, and even with a 40 points start for Cas, I would still back Warrington.

Re: [Match Discussion] Salford game.

Salford are the pundits tips for bottom three. If we can`t beat a predicted bottom three team at home, I honestly can not see us winning more than 4 matches all season. Early days to judge, but things are not looking good. Plodders like the two Hull wingers Radford has signed, will not improve us. W...
