Re: George Griffin

Ok as a squad member or on the subs bench, but the back 3 for me will be JSL, McMeeken & Foster with Watts, McShane & Hepi the front three.

Re: Magic Weekend

With the "loop" fixtures, some unlucky team will have to play Toronto twice at their ground.

Re: Toronto

Same here. The whole Toronto being in SL, is a joke. How much cash in "away" support will they bring to Castleford or any of the other clubs, how many of the existing clubs supporters are going to go there?. The RL will not be happy until in 10 years time they have a SL of Toronto, New York, Barcelo...

Re: Thats it then

Not a bad season, considering the injuries we have had. 5th place finish, with 1/2 of the team missing for large chunks of the season is good.

Re: 2020 Squad

We have spent most of this season with very little attacking threat with Gale being absent. Can not see it changing next season when he is gone for good.

Re: Yorkshire’s Number 1 !

Considering the injuries we have had, it`s a fine achievement to finish in the top 5 again and be the top Yorkshire side.

Wakefield whingeing last night about the nr of injuries they have had - about 1/2 as many as us, yet we finish 5th and they just avoid relegation.

Re: End of season run in

Can't see us signing many from London or KR. We could actually be in pole position for McGillvary if Hudds go down given Hull have about 5 wingers, Saints have Makinson and Grace, Wigan have 4 good wingers, and Wire have Charnley and Lineham. We have 4 ourselves --- Clare, Eden, Olpherts & Feki. Ho...

Re: On to London

We field our strongest possible team. We have to for the integrity of the comp. What are Huddersfield, Leeds, Wakefield & Hull KR going to say about the matter, if we field a weakened side against London and London win. It was wrong two weeks ago when Saints did it, it would be equally wrong if we d...

Re: On to Hull KR

Massive game for us today. Still think 2nd place isn't impossible. Wigan will finish 2nd no danger we lose today not even make top five but it's your opinion Not only will they finish 2nd, they could win the GF. Every year they have the end of season charge, they always seem to peak at the right ti...

Hull KR by 10.

They HAVE to win, we don`t. That will be enough motivation for them.

where does this nonsense come about a north american tv deal. Competing against hockey, football, baseball - all of which are national sports - can we really suggest that a minority sport in which the team has only just potentially entered the top division is going to attract a major tv deal - i ve...

London or Wakefield to stop up if i had my choice it would certainly be Wakefield if their replacement is Toronto i dont see what they will do to help the game over here Toronto Certainly bring slot more money,TV and sponsorship opportunities than wakefield would offer ....and bring zero in from "a...

London have to win 3 from 7. Not sure how they will do that to jump above Wakey.
Saints are fielding 9 reserves against them, so they will beat them.

That will really pee off HUll KR, and Londons other rivals for relegation.

Re: Remaining Fixtures

We will win 2 of the last 8 - London (h) & Hull KR (a), possibly only the home match.

If we do win two, we should be safe from relegation, as Hull KR and London will both have to win 6 of their last 8 to overtake us, due to our much better points difference
