Re: Rankin

Personally, Clare for me would be the answer for this season if Evalds isn't gonna be here early. Turner/Hodgson can be used as back up if needed. Leave Olpherts, Feki and Eden to fight for the 2 wing spots. Theres no chance i'd even think about moving Pete from centre for 2 reasons - I think he's p...

Re: Salary Cap for 2021 and beyond

I think you've hit on a good point there tigerfeat - we have some clubs not spending up to the cap so a vote between clubs is unfair as those clubs could be seeking to use it as an advantage to get on a level playing field with the rest of SL. It already is a “level playing field”. That some clubs ...

Re: Best overseas player

Sorry, LT, mines a 2 name answer! 'Best' and 'Favourite' are 2 different things. Nikau was the best I've seen play for Cas. However, my favourite overseas player is Millington - the loyalty he's shown for our club I don't think will be matched for a long time by any overseas player for any club in SL.

Re: BBC website - Restart of season

Whoever's going to win the Grand Final if it goes ahead will be viewed as "it wasn't a proper season though was it" I'm afraid. Watch it be Cas now I've said that! Or you could look at it the other way around and say that they are more of a champion side having come through all of the adversity tha...

Has anyone like me, not watched the Grand Final back? I've still got it saved but never had the stomach to re-watch it. Probably never will.
Yep! Still saved on my planner but never watched it and probably never will

Re: Evalds

Maybe next year they’ll scrap all this dual reg rubbish and run a proper, competitive reserve league - throw him the number 1 shirt and see how he performs.

Re: Millington

Deserves another year for me. Maybe a year with another years option in favour of the club? Experience counts for a lot in the dressing room and on the field - I think Millo brings more than just on field performances. He’s been here that long he could qualify for a testimonial year!

It could be argued that you would have spent even more had the fixtures gone ahead.
That’s a good point. With what I’ve saved so far in food, drink, away game tickets and travel I’ve already saved the price of the season ticket anyway - I suspect a lot of people have.

Re: Season ticket Refund?

Im fortunate enough to be in a financial position where a few hundred quid doesn’t matter too much so I’m happy to write mine off and not bothered about any discounts for next season. Everybody’s position is different though so it will be interesting to see how the club handles it. A lot of people c...

So Catalan can not train until September..... Season to be postponed or play on without them?
Play without them, play without Toronto, get rid of them both, promote 2 English/British teams into Superleague for next season - job done :D
