Re: Greg Eden

If it's true and he *was* to go, then the salary cap relief must be a few quid, too. Especially if it's for the full season - that can be used to strengthen the squad (hopefully)

Re: Greg Eden

Just read that loaning out a player removes his (wage) liability from the salary cap for the duration of the loan. Therefore, if the rumours about it being a season-long loan are correct, then that frees up some cash for ... new toilet lights and door locks? :-D Full document here - https://www.rugb...

Re: Mike McMeekan

Can’t think offhand of forwards who have made it big in RU, the skills are very different. Sam Burgess failed (actually, he was shafted!). Andy Farrell played mainly in the backs, the ones who made it were backs. Not sure what Sonny Bill played first, but he’s a freak! In his defence, he's played U...

Or you could buy online and get it posted to you. Or even pick up from the ground on the day. And your club gets 30% too, not 100% to Leeds.

You don't have to go to the shop to buy tickets.
Not really appropriate when you' may not be able to take delivery of a ticket; I get your point, though.

Re: 3 game pack

Makes sense - as each match requires a trip to the ground/Xscape/Shop to buy the ticket beforehand, to take advantage of a slight discount (and to avoid the queues at the ticket office on match day) If you need to travel a reasonable distance in order to pick up a ticket, then I'm sure people would ...

Re: Krus leeming

One of biggest cheats in game No thanks. i didn't realise he was such a cheat? I don't know about him being a cheat per se, however he was one of the culprits for the debacle last season, where players were throwing a ptb pass at an opposing player in the ruck in order to blag a penalty. He did it ...

Was Ellis at training this week. Haven't seen all the photos. That's always a nod towards wants happening especially when it only 2 long term injured, junior and fozzie are there.
He was at day 1 of pre-season (see attached pic)
