Re: Catalan V Rhinos

sounds like they are in big trouble financially. they have paid in advance for flights and accommodation which they have now lost if games don't go ahead. to make things worse their owner bernard gauch has always bailed them out from his personal fortune. the trouble being his butchers/meat supply ...

Re: Cracking Rumour

Just heard a story that Kath Hetherington rang the travel company, who are contracted for the journey over to France, to cancel the trip last Wednesday 11/3/20 saying the Rhinos won't be travelling. She must be able to see into future, for as it happens they would have been stuck in Barcelona until ...

Re: Ottawa aces

All these multi-million clubs coming in and the small clubs disapearing, but will someone tell me where are all these super star RL players are coming from. At a rough estimate, including the UK, Aus, N Z, Samoa etc. there must be only, approx 100 players that with there skill, strength, and fitness...

Re: Fridays referee

its a lot harder than it looks. you have to pass a refs/rules test as part of your coaching papers but its only a written test. or was back in the day. i realised how much different it was when standing in for a no show ref. you can't think for a minute what the answer is your decision has to be in...

Re: Injury crisis.

If a pro rugby player is complaining the three peak challange is too much they need moving on ... exactly The amount of training they do the three peaks is a walk in the park. The dales are pretty much my second home as I'm up there regularly hiking and I can manage to get around it in 7hrs - for a...

Lets hope this match is more entertaining than the Saints V Salford game , how boring was that if i had to watch games like that every week i think i could do without it

It was very boring Gateman unless you were a Saints fan, can't see anyone beating them again.

10 out injured all ready before the season has even started!!

Feki, Blair, Watts, Smith, Cook, Moors, Macmeekan, JSl, Milner & Foster.
That means we have a smaller squad than the wolfmen to pick from, perhaps we can ask for special dispensation from the league.

Re: Positives

Should the heading read, Positives and Negatives. I say this because there are more posters on this forum ready to bring the players and coaching staff down, not to mention the great supporters who attend because they are being Positive.

Re: Castleford town centre

Read an article somewhere about the dissapearing pubs in Pontefract. Which made me think of the ones we've lost in Castleford . Now let me try to remember starting on Bridge street/Keel Inn/Miners Arms/on your way up the road I think the Star and Garter was on the left. At the top was the Ship/ bot...

Cas giving a university student the chance to work under one of the best sports physios in the country . It was going so well until this. We don't have one of the best sports physio in the country. Or even one of the best in the county. In fact, we probably don't have the best sports physio in Cast...

Re: Jeremy Corbyn new Labour leader Lol

If I could possibly jump in between all the nastiness that seems to be brewing between 2 or 3 posters on here and ask the question, of which I have e-mailed the leading parties and recieved one response is, how many can give an HONEST answer ( holding my breath) pay or have paid by their company/par...

Re: Jeremy Corbyn new Labour leader Lol

Let them all live in tents out in fields. Get em up at 6am each morning & make em go a pick potatoes out in the fields. After a hard day's graft, give em a cold shower and then back in their tent for the night. That'll keep em subservient. Isn't that what Farmers do now to the Eastern Europeans', a...
