Castleford Tiger Tiger?
It would depend which company and what they wanted to do with the name but if it would secure our future and push us up the league I'd be tempted by most combinations!

Re: A few tries to enjoy!
That was a great game, my first season as a season ticket holder... didn't we finish 3rd behind Wigan and Leeds that year (i.e. ahead of Saints, Warrington, Bradford etc) :D Didn't Wigan have a cup final or players touring or something that match? Although we did turnover a full Wigan team in style ...

Re: Rangi Chase to the NRL?
http://www.sportinglife.com/rugby-league/news/article/480/8213607/hull-miss-out-on-prince I wonder what part this played in the Chase situation, did St George decide against Rangi and opt for Prince or did they turn to Prince when it was apparent Rangi was unavailable. I hope it's the latter... I t...

Re: The Future Starts very soon
The land value as you have said is worth £13m if used for retail i was unaware of any accounting standard which required a discount to be applied becuase for another use it would be valued at less than this. I maybe wrong but please feel free to refer me to the UK GAAP (the accounts are prepared un...

Re: The Future Starts very soon
Maybe the reason RW isnt selling his shares is just to wind up Robbo Possibly, Although. If Opus do a deal for the ground, That money goes into the accounts, And the club is worth a whole lot more. Hence how the shares go up. Apparently, The shares are valued at £40 a share atm, But if someone offe...

Re: CTSC and the YEP
I've seen a lot of references recently to Bullmania and Cougermania and how the match day experiences were not just about the game but about the events surrounding it. Whenever I read these articles they bang on about how good the marketing was back then and how it got people through the gates in th...

Re: Is this a NEW Low for our great club?
Firstly... etc I'm not sure what goes through some people's minds sometimes. How can anyone think it's a good idea to write this on a public forum whether it's true or not? What are you trying to achieve? It's not even your own battle (unless this is a new alias). Posts like this are the reason I u...

Re: WHO LET EDEN GO?
These things happen, lets try concentrating on the youth we have retained rather than let go. It's funny how opinions change so quickly when we're on a bad streak, before the season started I would imagine most fans would have taken Owen over Eden without a second thought, sorry to drop this on you...

Re: Leeds v fev
Ashamed to admit it but I went to Sheadingley on Friday night, Leeds were pretty good, it's hard to really tell against lower league opposition and Fev didn't do themselves any favours. Interesting that Raynor had a terrible night in defense, he was at fault for a couple of the tries and was out of ...

Re: team for huddersfield friendly
Why on earth are we playing ryan mcgoldrick at full back when owen is in the squad. We know what goldie can do at full back, if owen is our no1 full back surely he should be played there to start with. Isn't this partly what friendlies are for? Test out different players in different position. Don'...

Re: CARLTON LANES SHOP
The term cutting your nose off to spite your face springs to mind. If the shop is profitable then unless a very good alternative is available then the club should leave it where it is.
