Re: New signings ????
With this talk of King and Hall following Senior I just had a good look at the Hull KR squad. Primarily to see what kind of depth they had to make it feasible. They don't have alot I'd expect both to be an injury away from selection. What did strike me though is that they have so few injured players...

As a positive I though Hill looked good 1st half.

Re: away to Wigan
Seems an odd one. Depends how much they rate Broadbent I guess.

Re: away to Wigan
Happy to Broadbent go now to be honest, especially if the Hoy, Hall and King rumours are true.
King will definitely be a good addition, could do with another prop too or some returnees. Kibula and Hall don't cut it at all.

Re: WIGAN Sunday
Tackling is a joke but more worryingly we don't even attempt any line speed and when we do it's not cohesive so leaves huge gaps.

Re: WIGAN Sunday
With all the talk about the ever increasing injury list, who are the players missing who have positively impacted our season to date? The results don’t reflect a team that has missing ‘stars’ but that of a squad with limited capability. I'd disagree slightly as the injuries mean us playing out of p...

Re: WIGAN Sunday
Another season yet again where injuries are a real concern so far early on into this year. For this trend to continue like it has done for the last 3/4 years surely something’s amiss. Either the club are not doing their due diligence enough on players and their fitness state before bringing them on...

Re: WIGAN Sunday
Be looking at, the following I'd imagine: Broadbent, Hodson Mellor Wood Senior Richardson Miller Hall Horne Kabula Martin El Zhakem Westerman Robb Namo Hindmarsh Johnson Hill Assuming Westy is OK and Mcshane isn't. Ither way round and it will be Horne at loose. If neither are fit Horne loose, Robb s...

Re: WIGAN Sunday
Can't help feel that we just need to get through the next two weeks with a bit of pride and hopefully no significant injuries. With London, Leigh, St Helens (week before CC semi if they are still in it) and Hull we should be aiming for 3 wins (and definitely be disappointed if we can't take 2 at lea...

Re: Salford Friday
Another downer is the 4 extra injuries. With no chance of loans because it’s the cup we are going to be seriously short next week. Guess Hindmarsh will get a go whether he’s ready or not. [/quot To be honest I don't give us much chance again Wigan so a part of me does just think rest anyone with ni...

Re: Salford Friday
Firstly the cons (get them out of the way) -conceding tries from the 1st tackle on a set play is pretty unforgivable and we need to sort that. We got done with an overlap been giftedon the 1st tackle from both a tap and a scrum tonight and it nearly cost us. - the drop out from Richardson was just b...

Re: Salford Friday
Taking it that Lawler will be out for a while if not the season. Do we think the club should now bring someone in on loan. They have to be good enough, not just someone to fill a gap, we have to many of that sort of player. I think they’re looking at loan options according to Lingard? Shame Wigan a...

Re: Salford Friday
Don't think we can really judge Namo he as played 10 minutes. Putt is a 2nd rower being used at prop before injury. Yeah said I'd give Namo benefit of the doubt, looked to have fitness on a par with Vete when he did play but hopefully that's just due to the length of time he's been out. Agree re Pu...

Re: Salford Friday
No hindmarsh tomorrow, he’s playing for the reserves Saturday. Another waste of a singing and waste of money. Unfortunately we seem to have 2 decent props (Watts and Lawler) and a huge gulf in class below them to Vete, Kabula, Mustapha Hindmarsh, Putt, Hall that are championship standard at present...

Re: Salford Friday
Watched the Melbourne game today, they scored a pretty undefendable try by kicking high and angled to the ingoal to 6'4 ft winger to take and score. Obviously the kick was precision and the winger, Coates, jumps so high and accurately he's probably taking the ball from about 9ft in the air, so I dou...

Re: Salford Friday
Salford are a good side, can't see us been close.
Need to be much smarter with the interchanges though, have Namo, Putt or Hindmarsh played anywhere this weekend?
I'd go with the same 13 as Leeds with a bench of:
Horne
Namo
Hindmarsh
Putt

Re: Next Home Game Its Leeds Leeds Leeds
Just looking at the stats Big yardage figures from Mellor, El Zhakem (highest tackler too), Wood, Watts, Westerman, Lawler, Senior and Broadbent. It's good to see forwards making metres with 5 off them over 100 metres (only Westy generally did so last year). But to me ot further questions the use o...
