A maverick who isn’t a team player and seems to upset dressing rooms. Certainly not a Powell player I wouldn’t have thought. Evalds in early would be my guess ...

Re: Greg Inglis

Getting like a dads army team over at Warrington. Probably the best player in the world but that was five years ago. Injury ravaged, mental health issues and has struggled with drug addiction. Oh and he’s 34. What could possibly go wrong? If he plays full back, where will Ratchford and the exciting ...

Re: Evalds

In these tough times to make a statement signing like this shows our club must be in good nick off the field. I’m amazed but delighted we have pulled this one off. Well done to all involved and particularly the much maligned Jon Wells for getting it over the line. A spine of Evalds, Truman, Richards...

Re: 16 million loan to rugby league

I've seen people slaging off clubs who they say shouldn't be getting anything because they won't pay it back to me the money is a lifeline for the sport and one hopes all of rugby league is together in this to start arguing and haggling who's going to get what being the first sport to get governmen...

Re: 16 million loan to rugby league

I’ve just seen an interview by Jon Wells on love rugby league, and he says money will be used to help clubs out when the season restarts inevitably playing behind closed doors. Well done to the RFL and particularly Ralph Rimmer on this one. Credit where credit is due, all the chairmen of clubs have ...

Re: Memories - Dean “Diesel” Sampson

He should’ve had many more international caps than he got should Dean. For a big impact style prop he did massive minutes, often playing full games without coming off. He always seemed to be overlooked for Barrie Mac who was a similar player but only played in short stints. Great player, and a fan’s...

Re: How are we going to help the club survive?

Having just watched the bbc news I will be amazed if we see any rugby this side of June. If that is the case, we may have no game to come back to at all. Every single rugby league club is in jeopardy and I can’t unfortunately see any light at the end of the tunnel. What an utterly depressing time we...

Re: Saints up next

Cracking win. First half was as good as I've seen us for 2 years. The only blot on the copy book was the kicking close to the line. Still needs sorting out as failure to execute releases pressure on the opposition. Every player stood up today. PM outstanding at centre before his head knock. World c...

Re: What to do when games go behind closed doors?

I genuinely can’t see the game surviving in it’s current professional format if we go behind closed doors for any length of time. I agree with suspending the season, scrap loop fixtures and play through winter with another mini break for Ashes tour in Autumn. Loop fixtures can't be scrapped as Toro...

Well that was novel. Sacking the coach and announcing it live on Sky even before telling the players  Serious lack of class from Pearson

Re: Saints up next

Hopefully all the armchair/ keyboard warriors will get down and give the lads our support. I love how people criticise those who don’t attend every game as “armchair fans” or “keyboard warriors”, rather than think about why they don’t attend. I don’t live locally and work in the week so Thursday/Fr...

Re: Saints up next

Hopefully all the armchair/ keyboard warriors will get down and give the lads our support. What defines the above? I think we all know that particularly on the unofficial cas Facebook pages there are large numbers with an awful lot to say but never attend games. I am simply trying to say, if you ar...
