Re: IMG Gradings
What happens if 3 clubs outside super league have higher points than 3 clubs currently in super league do they change 3. I spoke to Clint Goodchild (york owner) n he was quite upbeat about his chances of getting into super league, he said they've been told what they need to do and hes confident the...

Re: Next Home Game Its Leeds Leeds Leeds
Lets not start blaming the coach again, time the finger was pointed at the guy at the top who is holding the purse strings, Wayne Bennett couldn't get a tune out of this bunch. Spot on. Quite simply we lack quality and no coach in the world would magically make that situation change. The team are t...

Re: Next Home Game Its Leeds Leeds Leeds
I think we'll give it a damn good go. Not sure it will get us the points as with the new sigings to their spine Leeds are a pretty good side this year but i think it will close.

Re: IMG Gradings
What makes my blood boil is all the other teams are sitting pretty knowing they are safe. We on the other hand have had to forfeit a full season of dire rugby on the field, even then we can’t be 100% sure IMG will want to keep us in SL. Always seems to be our club who gets the short straw. The fact...

Re: IMG Gradings
Heard a few whispers Toulouse may not be ready to come up just yet. Not convinced they were ever in contention for 2025 really given their finance issues, i’d expect them in a couple of years down the line though. Bradford won’t be anywhere close either. If they are ready then I think it will be 2 ...

Re: away at Batley
Home game, decent crowd, no injuries or suspensions. That’s pretty much our cup hopes now!

Re: away at Batley
Job done. Not perfect but the conditions weren’t good, especially first half going uphill into the wind. Hopefully we’ll get a bit of confidence out of it and improve from here. Nothing like an easter game at home to Leeds to get the juices flowing!

Re: away at Batley
As i’ve said before the food at Batley is the best offering in RL. It’s in his contract he has to be picked in the squad for this game.the happy hooker9 wrote: ↑21 Mar 2024, 13:55 How in the name of Allah the Most Merciful can Vete be included in the squad??????????.......come back Ian Van Bellen all is forgiven

Re: Stadium.
The official notification of it not being called in has gone on the planning portal today. I’d now expect an announcement from Axiom/The club shortly to confirm this.

Re: away in France
It’s really funny how it feels almost binary that you have to either blindly get behind a club or slag them off – there is a middle ground to be found and you can criticise a club without being a hater – if the criticism is constructive and valid. Any fan can see that as a club we don’t have the re...

Re: away in France
Thought the no try was harsh, just tan straight into tasipale and thrown himself to the deck He made the most of it but Tasipale stopped in the line rather than running through. They’ll always penalise that. I get that but even if tasipale isn't there they don't stop him Which makes the dozy play b...

Re: Sylvester Namo, Nixon Putt n Dan Hindmarsh
I have no evidence or knowledge on this but recall this article earlier this year. I may be wrong (Horne has been with us longer than others) https://www.loverugbyleague.com/post/exclusive-super-league-clubs-face-race-against-time-to-ensure-papua-new-guinean-players-can-travel-to-france They cost m...

Re: What I’ve heard.
Is it QAREQARE? I reckon Bradford wants him again if its him He’s injured. The obvious one who hasn’t been injured and hasn’t had any game time who probably should have is Cain Robb. The others who haven’t played are either crocked or kids like Brad Martin & George Hill who are squad fillers at...

Re: Stadium.
The thing I was a bit surprised at on the other thread about last night’s meeting was that the finances for the stadium were a long way off. I know it will be dependent on the detail of the section 106, but I understood from what has been said previously that the funding was to be up front before o...
