Re: I can only see the season void

Play offs could go aswell and we could have a normal season like most other sports Football and Cricket are the only sports I can think of that don't have some sort of playoffs to settle their professional top-divisions. Even then that's only the domestic leagues - international competitions all ha...

Re: Catalan tv

My friend flew to Australia last year see his son he's 90 ! And the oldest person to ever run a marathon was 106, while there are fresh 18 year olds who couldn't finish a 5K. Not all people are equal and if someone's health means they can't travel then nothing is gained by pointing out that there a...

Re: Eden - Not good!!

You're the one who reckons Olpherts is blind in one eye yes and that he'd do nothing at Cas? Eden may well be out for 6 weeks, I don't know, but you're not exactly a credible source at this point. I spoke to him myself you absolute binner !!.... not someone’s brothers, uncles, cousin!!! ME!!! ........

Re: Powell’s Magic Touch

Plenty of people insist Powell has taken Cas as far as he can (a Grand Final, a Cup Final, a League Leaders Shield, consistently challenging for playoff spots). This season is young but with a lot of injuries Cas have taken the 4 points on offer. I still have not had a single answer from the naysaye...

Re: Olpherts

Well it's early in the season, but given that posters here were convinced that he'd be terrible, wasn't good enough, is blind in one eye and has somehow managed to con professional rugby medics about it for years, etc. etc. etc... Then he's started well. Hope he continues to prove those people wrong.

Re: Tonight's game

Sorry if this has been asked but why on earth are we playing on a friday night at home if ths game isn't on sky? Surely this has knocked a few thousand off the gate therefore list revenue. Surely reverting back to traditional sunday afternoon would have been better Next weeks game is on a Saturday,...

Re: Next up Wigan

I'm just going to go ahead and ignore all the whining and conspiracy theories about training pitches and prams and so on, and talk about the threads actual title: the Wigan game. Wigan weren't great against Warrington, Jackson Hastings in particular didn't seem to live up to his form of last year - ...

Re: Sonny Bill who

5 years out of the game, 34 years old, surrounded by a very mediocre team. His value is in the attention he attracts for Toronto (and Rugby League in general), I doubt he'll achieve much on the pitch this year. Although it'd be nice to see him hit something like the kind of form he managed in his pr...

It deserves a ban. Anybody that thinks different wants to try and take a tackle like that where you've just relaxed your body and not expecting someone to come in and smash you.... . Maybe you'll think differently then. 2 matches is fair, Chris Hill should of got longer. I’m not saying it doesn’t d...

Cas should be having a Pride day when Catalans come to visit, there should be a sea of rainbow flags everywhere! Flags on amazon 5ft by 3ft £3.99 Might invest just for that game. Why ? I go to watch rugby to get away from the stresses of life. Those that use this to push there own opinions onto peo...

A league leaders shield, a grand final and a challenge cup final? Challenging for playoff spots in every single year? In other words, further than any other Castleford coach in the Super League era? So go on then, who do you think is going to take Castleford any further than this? Which wizard out ...

Re: Shenton

Apparently, Toronto have asked the RFL for salary-cap dispensation as SBW won’t play in the opening rounds. They only want to count his salary from the point he starts playing. Already trying to bend the rules..... Why would they ask for dispensation from the RFL(Who, iirc, don't own Super Leagues ...
