did you stay for the night session ronnie pulled off some fantastic shots
No, I just went in the afternoon. Ronnie and Jimmy were the 2 players I most wanted to see, so when I saw they were playing each other I had to go to that game

Re: Snooker - Champion of Champions

Yes it was me Alf, I actually got a mention in the pre match presentation because the announcer was a Wakey fan. I enjoyed watching both players, Jimmy had the chances to win it

Re: Chris Silverwood

I found this thread quite interesting finding out about different well known Cas fans. I don't understand why some get so wound up about it. I have no problem reading about a Yorkshire cricketer even though I support Warwickshire. There should be more threads slightly off topic, it makes a change fr...

Re: Gale

I was told by a Hull fan last week, Leeds offered £500,000 for Connor, but they turned it down. If Hull change their mind or Leeds increase the offer, that would leave Hull with a lot of money to spare

Re: Foster Out for season + other updates

things are looking a better on the injury front, shame about Foster he is one of those players that are very unlucky , can we afford to keep him when his contract runs out ????? No. We don’t need another Ben Roberts. Fosters 25, Roberts is 33. The older you get, the harder it is to shake off injuri...

Re: Rankin

I doubt Hudds will pay a fee for Wardle, which would mean he would end up back at Cas. I guess we are stuck with Rankin for next season, he isn't a bad player, we have had much worse than him

Re: Leeds away

If true that didn't take long. Maybe the Cas conditioning staff need to be looked at. I can't believe some of our injuries couldn't have been avoided. It can't all be put down to bad luck

Lurcher is very knowledgeable and reliable, I respect what he says. If you could send me and OCL a private message please lurcher, it would be much appreciated. Doing that won't give fords any more grief, and harmony will be restored

Re: Challange Cup draw

Hull are not the team they were 2 years ago, we would go over to their place as favourites for it. Plus I do like an away day at the KC, a nice Sunday afternoon wouldn't go a miss. I agree that would be nice, but as Hudds Tigers has already said, we play Leeds the following Thursday, so it won't ha...

Re: Player leaving.

Because Fumper, when fit he'd walk into every SL team. True mate. I’d love him at Cas I feel desperately sorry for the lad, to have two ACL problems in separate knees is shocking, just hope he comes back as well as last time. Footballer Callum Wilson did exactly the same, he is now in the England s...

Re: Up next........the under performers.

I didn't see the game, but I think it's harsh that any team who are level after 80 minutes don't get a point. Give the team that wins golden point 2 points and the team that loses 1 point. That is how it works in ice hockey, and I definitely think it's a much fairer way to reward a team that came so...

Re: London next week

We went down for the opening game, we ended up drinking at the Duke of Kent, a steady ten minute walk to the ground. A bit of a tip/info. When we went there were no overland trains on the Sunday, online our return tube tickets were gonna be £13 each, for four of us, £52, as we sat in the bar in St ...

Re: London next week

I was shocked how woeful the ground was, it made the Wakey ground look decent. There is obviously still room for improvement, but not a bad win against a team that had a 100% home win record before today lol

Don’t know how to share it on here but have a look at Tomkins interview with Sky. “Horrible stadium and Horrible fans”. I’m sure he’ll get a warm welcome on Friday! :D "We have a tough, tough challenge going to Castleford. It's a horrible stadium, horrible fans, they get right on your back and that...
