We will lose more than we win. The games we do win will be high scoring affairs i foresee.
Im expecting a comfortable 11th, 9th or 10th arent beyond the realms of possibility.

Re: IMG Gradings
I thought they confirmed that the league would expand?Tigerwood posse wrote: ↑08 Dec 2023, 15:42 what happens if there are more than 12, GRADE A CLUBS, sorry if this is a stupid question??
I personally think the criteria will change to make it harder to get a Grade A license.

Re: IMG Gradings
I reckon it will be something along the line of "As these are indicative scores, Castleford will not receive the points back. However going through the appeals process has been a useful exercise for both The RFL and the club in question"

Re: IMG Gradings
I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but something is telling me that one club was always going to appeal their grading, just to allow The RFL to test their appeals process. Unfortunate that it is us this time.
Put it this way, id still rather be appealing this one than the gradings in 12 months.

Re: Jordan Crowther
Not quite. He is still happy to come but Wire would also like to keep him and he was a Andy Last signing so the new coach may see things a different way. If so a deal could be worked out. That makes more sense, Im hoping by 10:15PM this Friday we will know who our coach is for next season and he al...

I still think we will get relegated, however I think this coaching appointment looks beyond this season regardless of the result. For me its the right choice.

Re: Huddersfield Next
I hope im wrong but I don't think we will win another game all season. I don't see anything other than heavy defeats in our next 2. Even with the newer players coming into the team, we don't have the gameplan to challenge. If you look at the games we have won this season, we haven't really played th...

Re: Powell Gone. We must react......
Im not one of the "bring him home" type of fans, I believe he is currently the best coach available on the market, he has a set of skills that match what we need (getting the best out of average players). For me, if Last is still in post come Friday, it will show what the club are about, i...

Yes! These arent bad players, if they are held to the appropriate standards and given the correct game plans, they can / will compete every week.old cas lass wrote: ↑30 Jul 2023, 22:25 Is 7 games enough to keep us up if he does come
I don’t believe it is.
Powell could do that almost immediately.

Re: RELEGATION
Have we actually signed this PNG dude? If so why when he's not available to come? 2 year contract from next year David Mead has posted a photo of himself and Putt on Instagram saying 'ran in to an old friend at the airport'. Could be nothing, he could just be taking an internal flight to somehwere....

Re: RELEGATION
No disrespect to Wakefield but players seem quite happy to join them but won't come to Cas I'm starting to fear for the whole future of the club tbh This! And it isn't showing any disrespect to Wakey. If we aren't attractive to any players, then we are in a real mess! Its down to the BoD/CEO (finan...

Posted this on another thread a little while ago.... Now im not saying I would have taken any of the signings Wakefield made yesterday, however if you look at just one of them in isolation, it may be the turning point.....Fifita. Having been around him for some time at a local amateur club, he is an...

Re: Salford this Friday
Like i said on another thread, its a sad state of affairs when we know that our clubs ambitions this season are now hoping Wakefield don't win 5 games.
FWIW, I cant see them winning 4 more games that us from here on out but that should not be our ambition.

you are right mate his record is bad but every case should be taken on its own and for me in this case he had nothing to answer for I completely agree, I've been one of Watts' harshest critics in the last 12 months but there wasn't anything in this one for me. Sad state of affairs really if this is...

The problem Watts has is no matter what any of us think, he doesnt have a a great track record disciplinary wise. This will go against him when getting sentenced.

Cant see anything other than a Salford win unfortunately, however the performance against Leeds was on the right path. The team need to be putting in that effort and commitment every week which allowed them to compete, that's all any fans ask for.
