Re: Loan Signing.
This 'loan signing thread,' is a bit like watching Coronation Street. Miss 3 months and you don't miss anything important at all. Let's slag off a few more Cas players to fill in the time. If Clare, Trueman or Shenton ever see this Forum for 'Cas Supporters' they will top themselves. Richardson was ...

Re: FEKI - 999!
With no evidence, I personally think this rumour is untrue.
I hope it is.
If so, I hope the trash brigade on here will eat a large portion of humble pie.
Can't see it happening.

Re: FEKI - 999!
This 'Rumour ' has certainly attracted more posts than flies around a corpse.
Let's all calm down and wait for a Club statement, if of course there's any truth in it.
Personally I'm sceptical.

Re: Bob Spurr.
Sad news. Honest, very hard working player. A real ' Club Man' in the best sense of the word. He was often called ' Ten Yards Bob'. Always made 10 yards from acting halfback. Never failed. I was in his class at primary school. Never shone at rugby then. I recollect he was a bit of a Mathematics wizz...

Re: Jesse sene-lefao
Some players have a great 3 months before their contract is up for renewal, then slip back into a comfort zone and don't give 100%.
For those with long memories Harland was a perfect example. Happened twice with him.
I'm sure there are more recent examples.

Went on loan to Widnes.
3 games at Wire when they were short of troops.
Released.
Do you seriously want to sign someone with this track record.
Unbelievable.!!!!

Re: First game of 2021.
Always interesting to see the level playing field set before us by the RFL. Wakefield V Leeds. Played like the rest of the round at Shedingley. Why not have this this fixture reversed instead. Then Wakefields home fixture against Leeds would probably be at Wakefield, later in the season. I'm not a W...

Martians land on Wheldon Road.!!!
Suggest this and the original post go in the Rumours section.
Unless of course they are both true.

Re: Trialist
It was announced on 12th January.
The one month presumably ends next week.
No news either way.
I thought the club would make a bit more about it, for the publicity, if nothing else.

Re: Tigers Hall of Fame
There's always a leaning towards recent players by younger people.
Most Halls of Fame in the sporting world exclude current players.
The only player in the last few years even close to inclusion would be Shenton. Let him retire and look at him in retrospect.

Re: Blair Switch Project
We're making a positive out of a signing that didn't work.
We needdd and signed a centre.
Patently, he's too slow for that position, a bit like McMeeken.
Doesn't change the fast that we badly need a specialist centre in my opinion.
Turner is a utility player.

Re: James Clare
Too true. I'm a Cas Supporter. Have been since 1955. Best team in the world Cas Tigers. Second best , when we had one , our 'A' team. I'm old fashioned. I support the team and ALL of our players. I leave constant criticism to our neighbours at Featherstone, Wakefield and Leeds. A lot of 'Supporters ...
