Re: New Ground for Cas or NOT !

Planning applications have been submitted for the old Nestle site to flatten the old Railway embankment and for the building of residential houses on there.

Re: Huddersfield game cancelled

I also see that the Wire V Devils game has been cancelled but Wire awarded a 24-0 victory on the basis Salford can't raise a team due to injuries. How is this different to a team full of Covid? With Covid, the players could be asymptomatic and still technically play but obviously can't due to infec...

Is 12 the highest number for one team up to now?

Either way, get well soon folks and come back roaring.
Standalone, yes. Though Hull also had 12 including 3 non-playing staff at the beginning of testing.

Re: Huddersfield game cancelled

Track and trace say you start from the time of you first symptom. Say you have a cough on Monday and you dont get a test until Wednesday and result Friday. Track and trace will give the monday as your first day. The virus stays in the system for 5 days. Though you still can have symptoms and feel u...

Re: Huddersfield game cancelled

Tests carried out weekly every Tuesday. Results usually 24-48 hours after. The fact that the virus is most infectious, detectable and also symptomatic at around 5 days suggests this could have been introduced into the camp on matchday vs Hull KR or in captain's run Wednesday (though given negative t...

Re: Leeds up next

Wanted to sleep on it before posting simply because doing so when clouded by emotion isn't right. Firstly, I'd be embarrassed as a Leeds fan that with a rested team, a nearly fully fit team, home advantage and a ref giving you everything they only managed to scrape past us. I've no doubt some will g...

Re: Does Daryl look ready to walk?

Just a sense... The deliberate fixing of the CC redraw to take the bye from us You do realise that if the super league teams who were drawn to play lower league sides got their byes, then the all super league ties went ahead, only 7 teams would’ve remained in the quarter finals? Therefore, how were...

Re: HKR on Thursday

I thought it was a solid win given the squad decimation and losing 3 players to injury, one of which wasted 1/8 subs inside the first 5-10 mins. We played with a pack doing huge minutes and missing our big names. To play that well at times is a huge credit to the boys and in particular some names wh...

Re: Disciplinary.

Hepi was a tackle off the ball. Both his arms wrap around the player.

Looks like he anticipated the offload coming and went in to hit the man as he got it. Ball didn't come and he took the man out off the ball.

Worthy of penalty for me and no issues with the ban.

Re: Training Conditions.

When Powell first came in, didn't we get a chef who used to cook all meals for players throughout the week?

I imagine these are more Covid restrictions, avoiding contact with players particularly with how we got a recent outbreak infiltrating the camp

Re: Grant millington.

Sanderson is a centre by nature and I'd argue would be better cover for Shenton and Matautia. That is if we even keep him. Would also mean Blair moves permanently into back row. To be fair, I’d be happy with that. Actually, I’m happy that we are improving our first-choice 17 with the signing of Eva...
