Re: Princess Street Stand
Here’s a photo: Think it actually looks really smart. Not sure I really envisaged how it was going to look until I saw the photo... But very pleasantly surprised. If they could now sort out the cladding and roof that would be a very smart "stand"... Ohh and the toilets (but we can't have ...

Re: move on to Salford
Awful defence again... Not moving forward into the defensive line... No blockers to help the defenders.
Far too many yards given away in defence.

Re: New Signing
Bumped into him in Leeds train station last night. Been in training this week. But still in a hotel, and now looking for somewhere to rent
Seemed a nice lad... Need him in the squad with Watts impending ban, for daring to make a tackle

Apologies. Robbo is 100 per cent correct.
I have asked admin to remove/delete my original post to avoid any confusion going forward.
Hopefully a new year will bring some better times.
Take care everyone.

Re: New Director
promise this will be the last time I write this. Any company that has a loan with a director but incur an interest expense in there accounts. Under hmrc tax law this must be calculated as if it were a commercial loan with a bank. For the last 20 years that has been 5 percent on base rate. The intere...

Re: Stadium
But this is how it goes with planning applications. Someone raises an objection, you counter with the lowest offer... See if it works if so great. If not then you have to spend some time and money remedying it. It's not dead in the water (excuse the pun given the objection). It's will need resources...

Re: DANNY McGUIRE
I just don't get this mindset that coaches will be put off by having to deal with a squad that is already assembled by someone else. The reality is that deals - especially for overseas players - take months to agree and organize. Players coming to super league from overseas will have been in negotia...

Re: Next Years Squad
Don't get me wrong the loans need to be financed... But there is no cash actually changing hands. It's interest being accrued on a monthly basis which in turn is being capitalised onto the directors loan. The 2.5 percent on base is relatively prudent. It just so happens that base rates have jumped t...

Re: New Sky TV Deal
So the deal is worth £1m less a season for three years, all games will be televised and each game will have a video ref. Is it only me who has concerns around this. 1. Wit the current level of inflation at 7 percent and likely to continue a for a fair bit - we are looking at a real loss of perhaps 1...

Re: RELEGATION
For 7 more games yes then if relegated all out of contract? Not totally accurate - players contracts can have clauses removed and added if they so wish - remember Michael Shenton, when we were relegated in 2004 (i think) signing a contract at half time that specifically had a clause to the affect s...

One of the items that maybe making up the loss - and i don't know how big this was or even if the timing is correct - could be the repayment of government covid support payments that the club would have taken advantage of.
