Re: Eddie Hearn

Although the RFL have a lot to learn and have made some awful mistakes i would not trust that man to sell me a car let alone run professional rugby. Yes he has achieved a lot with darts - but its still basically a "[REMOVED] up" for the lads - and quite frankly the whole product looks tacky - aprt f...

Re: Totonto and the Salary Cap

But they did allow the championship teams to operate a salary cap the same as the SL which basically lead to Leighs demise and Toronto being almost certs for promotion each year

Re: Totonto and the Salary Cap

Sky continue to tell all and sundry that we should be giving Toronto and chance and that they need to be given this exemption and free from relegation etc. But is that what the general paying public want to see? There was sky pole before the game - i assume of the paying public - who were asked the ...

Re: Israel Folau

No club has to seek the permission of any other club to sign a player - however they do have to register that player with the governing body - who in turn have a duty to ensure that the signing of that player does not bring in to question the reputation of the sport to which it governs. Therefore by...

Re: Toronto Away June

Personally i would look for tour companies based in Canada itself. Many are actually based in the UK and subcontract the packages out - so you pay twice the margin to two different travel companies. I went to the world cup in Oz in 2017 and booked through an Oz based company under licence from the N...

Re: 2020 Kit

Is it more to do with not knowing exactly when the kit will arrive from the overseas manufacturer. Imagine the complaints if we announce the kit design but then cant supply the demand with the actual product. They will have an estimated date of arrival but you cant predict a specific date with it pr...

Re: Toronto

What is this nonsense about Toronto getting 10,000 plus for the game against Fev - the official capacity of the ground is only 9,600 and we all could see that the ends of the terrace were empty. Don't get me wrong it was a good turnout - but you can do that at Cas if you give free tickets and subsid...

Re: Hull on Thursday

In response to the Blair point about passing to his winger I assume you mean just before Trueman scored his third - personally I disagree. Blair received the ball on an outward curve as the defense was drifting. If he had simply shipped the ball on minkin he would have been smashed by 2 defenders, w...

Re: London Broncos

Toronto may get 7.5k or more likely 5k as i can not belive anything that comes out of that club. But so what. 90 cent of Toronto players are ex championship players who could not make it when leigh played in super league plus some nrl players who want a pay cheque vs 90 cent of london who live the g...

where does this nonsense come about a north american tv deal. Competing against hockey, football, baseball - all of which are national sports - can we really suggest that a minority sport in which the team has only just potentially entered the top division is going to attract a major tv deal - i ver...

Re: Shirts and kit for next year

The Gloucester gear looks very dull to me - same gear just a lot less vibrant - another fail in my books - going to be a hit with the middle 50% of the population - just a shame that the 50% middle ground is not the ones who pay the bills
