Re: test side

What an utter embarrassment. Start at the very top and it runs right through to the players. The game is rotten run by rotten people with personal agendas to line there own pockets. Genuine RL people need to challenge how the game is been run and get a hold of it before it’s too late. Never in all m...

Guess it depends how long ago it was booked. Bali is a stones throw away from Australia so not that far away to hop on a flight, get married and fly back again.

Must have a right throw on you hudds, it’s only a 6 hour flight 😂😂

Re: Reserve Grade

This was always going to happen. The other reason was to give young players time playing against season pros to develop their game. Can see a situation where DR partners “York” give game time to senior players but don’t give our younger players a chance. I’ve seen more than a fair number of ex acade...

Re: test side

No doubt wattsy at the very least should have been in the squad on his form. Just wondering if the nasty finger injury had any bearing on his admission from the squad.?

Anyhow GBs loss is our gain and fit and fresh wattsy and the admission hopefully drives him to be even better next season.

Re: Boxing Day with Bulls

i see the usual happy bunch have found something to complain about as per usual they are just copying and pasting last years moans about friendlies, a few alterations , opposition etc but its like an annual echo. Dont want to pay 15 quid, dont go...... simple It’s not exactly a good business model ...

Re: Boxing Day with Bulls

Not exaggerated just an approximation. A 3,000 crowd isn't going to be all adults, just like it's not going to be all concessions/juniors. Taking a mid-range view of £37,500 minus a couple of thousand off for costs is around £18,750 each. I doubt the club will bother running a programme for the mat...

Re: Boxing Day with Bulls

in these matches i would like them to give Robbie Storey a go in the centre his natural position ,he played a lot last year in the second row i was always impressed with the lads work rate He’s a good lad Robbie, he really needs to be playing at a decent level this year championship minimum along w...

Re: Boxing Day with Bulls

As much as I’d like to go and support the young lads that play £50 for a family of 4 is just too much at a time of the year when money is tight for a meaningless friendly.
I doubt the club will change the pricing for this game but they need to have a long hard think in the future.

Re: Toronto at shedingley

Talking to Leeds fan at work, he was saying he was lead to believe that Ticketing for the games were independent of each other, and the supporters from the first game would be expected to leave after full time (unless they buy a ticket for the second game to) Well done to the RFL/Superleague for li...

Re: Toronto at shedingley

I think it’s a good idea really. Should be a good atmosphere for us lot and an extra match for the same price (hopefully) Standing and watching one game of rugby in January Erm, games in February 😉😉😉 I like to get there early😜😜 same difference it’s not going to be cracking any flags is it. I went t...

I think it’s a good idea really. Should be a good atmosphere for us lot and an extra match for the same price (hopefully) Standing and watching one game of rugby in January is enough when it’s freezing cold, even worse if it’s raining or snowing stood in a open end. Re: Catalan away

Have you looked at stanstead Friday to Sunday to carcassone. I looked yesterday and flights were coming in at £55 return with Ryan air.
Manchester fri-mon to carcassone £66 return.
Pretty certain Catalan sports will do transfers failing that it’s very easy to get the train down to Perpignan

Where will it all leave us in 2021 if licensing comes back with the new t.v deal ?
In a nutshell the championship.
It’s fair to say clubs like York,Newcastle in decent stadia fit the bill for the way super league is wanting to go.

Re: fixtures

Bit of a damp squib. The two main fixtures I look for are Catalan away and magic weekend. Neither set the pulse racing. Add in the Toronto game at headingley and you can’t help thinking somebody as had a laugh at our expense. I’ve said for a while chopping and changing the days we play on causes mor...
