The game v Warrington, the pitch was waterlogged ie it had puddles in places.
The pitch is flooded, that game couldn't have gone ahead today. The main stand and surrounding area upto the turnstiles are deep in water when it's bad.

[attachment=0]FB_IMG_1697889993981.jpg Taken this morning And how many pitches will be waterlogged today due to all the rain. That is not a flood, that’s a waterlogged pitch. My back lawn is the same. Funny how there’s no water on the training field or on Wheldon Rd and surrounding areas, Some one ...

Re: Stadium
The council have always been stringent with planning especially down Weldon lane/road. I remember when there was talk of the Nestle factory closing around 15yrs since and it was rumoured that Tesco had looked into buying it and decided not to buy as building a supermarket it would have had to be bu...

Re: Plea
Some great posts in this thread. I’ve stated in the forum several times that, when any organisation starts to struggle operationally, you have to look at the leadership group (Board of Directors). You then have to analyse the root cause of the problems - not the outcome of those problems (which are...

Re: 2022 accounts
Shareholders still have there rights in a private company as far as I understand it Shareholders do have certain rights. Shareholders meetings have always taken place, even during the dark days of relegation. Those in charge at the time answered both written and oral questions. Questions/queries/co...

Re: 2022 accounts
Having had a good look at the accounts. They are not easy to read or indeed good to read. The accounts are abridged and are not straightforward - possibly deliberately??? Losses look to be around £766,000 - this is the drop in value in the balance sheet. There could well be non-trading losses, but t...

Re: Where does the money go?
i was told that when Steve Gill took over he started to trim cost one of the first to go was a solicitor who was on a retainer costing the club thousands, looking at the list of people who work for us it makes you think what they all do and do they all draw a wage I know who you are referring too. ...

Re: Where does the money go?
I think we cross the Rubicon when we use words like "not legal" I don't think that is particularly healthy. Truth is we don't know, so can only speculate. But speculation is all one has when there is no clear statement of where we are and what we are trying to do. I didn't especially get ...

Re: Where does the money go?
Looking at the timeframe of that Robbo I would hazard a guess and say Richard Wright. No, certainly not. Richard Wright resigned in July 2012. He did stay on as a director for a short time in name only to recover a six figure sum he had loaned the club. He did not attend any b.o.d. meetings. Jack s...

The more badgering of people to support these applications the better. Every positive comment helps. There is a facebook page set up against the Axiom development by residents that has gained some traction. They've already had the comments date pushed back due to a council admin error. We must keep...

It will be very interesting to see what factors they use to decide which clubs are category A and which are category B? We own our own ground - others do not. Our attendance is above the average for Superleague. We have attained play off places for many recent seasons. Whilst I accept that our grou...

Well I'm astounded that Sts and Pies haven't been kept apart in the semi finals........ These conspiracy theories always amuse me 😀 The draw takes place live on a national TV station. The competition has a major sponsor that will have a number of legally binding conditions in place. Any “fixing” th...

We may be in a good position with wakey playing the thugs this afternoon, Isa will be all out for clobbering Tom J again, and no doubt Lino will recieve some "treatment" as well. Wigan are the masters of the dark arts as we all know Maybe to a degree under Shaun Wayne, they were very good...

Re: [Match Discussion] Hull KR Quarter Final
3 reasons, first the £2m does not cover the debt. Secondly as I've stated, the £2m grant is not a gift to the club to use as they want. It's purpose is primarily to create and ensure community use. Obviously there is some leeway within this, however paying off debts is not one of them. Finally you a...
