Re: Boxing Day with Bulls

Aren't friendlies split gate? Prices are high but I wonder if that is why. 3000 fans, max of £45k if all adults. Less if you factor in juniors and concessions. Once costs have been taken into account, you are probably only looking at £15k per team. Club has to make revenue/profit from every game it...

Re: Boxing Day with Bulls

The pricing structure is steep @ £15 and £10 especially when team will be made up of chiefly under 19s etc. When you look at the Leeds Rhino's v Wakefield game where juniors are priced at only £5. GB v Australia junior tickets are only £10 for a test match where the best players in the world will be...

i bought two bricks i would me more than happy for the money to be spent on Weldon road
The money raised from sales can only be used as intended ie on the brick wall displays.
The money is held in an escrow account to protect it.

Re: Cas Ground

The project is forward funded by a fund provider and Axiom cannot open until the stadium is built. It's the % of retail that needs to be hit to release the funding. Funding provision is not only dependant on ‰ retail uptake. Terms of agreement need to be turned into legally binding contracts. Under...

Re: Cas Ground

One thing I’ve seen this off season is that the club do listen to the fans, it might not always seem that way but so far: - they’ve created an amber shirt due to fan feedback - they are trialling a new shirt material on the away shirt due to fan feedback and will see how we react for future years -...

Re: Cas Ground

Hells teeth. There's some right wall flowers on here. Get a grip and get behind the club for gods sake. I would suggest these people are behind the club being supporters, season ticket holders, sponsors etc! It's obvious that some genuine isssues/concerns are being raised with the club and are bein...

Re: Cas Ground

It is sad, and worryingly the club appear to have an increasing "take it or leave it" attitude to fans old and new alike.

Richie Owen was a very good player -prospect till he badly broke his leg on a frost bound pitch He was a great prospect - could have gone on to have a very good career in SL and maybe international. Unfortunately he didn't seem to recover, mentally, from the injury. He seemed to lose all confidence...

I always thought a logo began being a trademark when you started using it and hence never runs out ...might be wrong like Unfortunately not, the logo was first registered in 1999, the trademark expired August 5th 2018 Are you saying I could register the Club logo and charge the Club to use it? In e...

Re: 2020 Kit

I dont mind all of the kits, plus the training and everyday range seems to be better. My only hang up is the Club Castleford logo....it didnt need the wording underneath the logo. Nothing major but just would of enhanced the branding for me. This may be due to the club apparantly letting the clubs ...

Re: Attendance trends

Tigers Together fulfilled this role, from organising the stadium petition, to revamping the firework display and increasing the profit 10fold. Plus one of the members totally revamped the ticket system and saved the club £14,500 in fees. Staffed tea/food in the u 16/19s matches. Created the voluntee...

Re: Jamie Ellis

I would be very interested as to whom you have been speaking with! The club built a lot of partnerships via the community Trust - mainly through traded services - with the local and wider community, ie schools, colleges and amateur clubs. Unfortunately a lot of these traded services have been taken ...

Re: Jamie Ellis

Castleford were at one time renowned for bringing players into the game through the academy system.
The last player to truly make it was Daryl Clark.
We are now being left behind by Leeds, Wigan, Saints, Warrington and to some degree Huddersfield and Wakefield.
