Re: Princess Street Stand

my worry is were i will stand for the next two home matches after all these years of me standing in the princess st stand it will be strange, but i can stand that great to see the club being proactive well done CAS TIGERS points win prizes Good on you! That’s the spirit Gateman 👏 👏 I genuinely can’...

Re: Tex Hoy

I’m not sure I’d be all that interested in him to be honest. One decent game every 4 in that hull team & now doesn’t appear to be up for the fight. It could work but it’s a gamble & only worth it if we see him being the answer for at least the next two seasons - can anyone honestly say that ...

Re: Sweet Caroline

Getting rid of ‘sweet Caroline’ would be madness in my opinion. It’s the first song that has really captured the hearts of the majority of fans & players. It’s great being a part of that at the end of games rather than everyone simply leaving.

Re: Stadium.

Great statement from the club! Really impressed with how much more proactive the club are since Jepson came in. The plan seems to make more sense than was previously alluded to on the COYF cast - just need to get as many journos/outlets on board now - let them in to see the ongoing works & get t...

Re: Stadium.

I’m glad the club have announced this & are looking to crack on despite the good news on PP. Pre IMG I believe the foot would’ve been taken off the gas; at least now we appear to be being as proactive as we possibly can. I look forward to the more detailed plans of how the £2 million will be spe...

Re: Axiom planning application

The need for 2500 jobs far outweighs the claims by some nimby's on Hollywell Lane about noise and traffic congestion. The council have already recommended both plans for approval. The number of available jobs have been greatly exaggerated, both in the construction and future employment. Most are un...

Re: Wakey fans

Whilst it does seem unfair; I suspect club punishment is aimed more at: A) getting fans to police themselves - “don’t be a div; it costs the club money”. B) Ensures the club are proactive re: trouble makers rather than turning a blind eye & taking their money. Every club has these types of Indiv...

Re: 2024 Squad

Sounds like the way they’re going on we’ll all be home safe, watching it on telly. I’m certainly not feeling excited about making a 200 mile round trip only to find that I can’t park anywhere near the stadium Carlton Lanes? 10 Minute walk max Sadly, too far for me. Sorry to hear that mate. Does any...

Re: Craig Lingard squad update

Some of the people/posters who have moaned loudest for years that the facilities at the club are terrible are now complaining that the club are improving facilities! Genuinely can’t decide whether they’re on the wind up or are just puddings! I reckon that had the IMG proposals come in 2019 then the ...

This is great news! Hugely significant for the clubs future & has come much quicker than I’d expected. Hopefully get the project passed as quickly as possible & money in the bank!

i know we have to do it, but it seems crazy to me when such things like this out way people going through the turn styles i see more failings with IMG than positives is it because i have gone bye my sell bye date Hi gateman , I think there are some misunderstandings around the gradings when it come...

That kind of sums up where the game has got to.
I understand the logic & agree to a point, but surely dragging clubs out of the 1980’s has to be a good thing too?

Re: New Director

“Technically, my investment probably does mean the club can spend up to the salary cap.” This was a very interesting sentence and I wonder if a new signing or two may be sought. Hopefully it will lead to paying off Vete and bringing in a good quality prop from abroad. Other than that that though i’...

 We have a new investor putting a 7 figure amount into the club. In 2025 it’s possible we’ll be in championship. I wonder how he’ll be feeling then. Re: New Director

Whilst not a lottery win in the same way Wakey’s takeover is; this is great news for us. My big hope is that Jepson is able to tempt others to the club via his professional contacts & if I’m being picky; this is the only disappointng aspect of the club statement - I’d have ideally liked a line o...
