Re: Wakey up Next

Some real positives in last nights performance (covered by everyone before me) but we absolutely have to address the poor individual decisions that player keep making with ball in hand; it’s killing us. There’s a real lack of discipline in terms of building pressure & earning the right to play. ...

Re: Wilson's 3 year plan

Please please put this to end and get rid cas and let's start again...... Needs urgent cash injection into the playing squad. If this means transfer fees and higher wages for the short term. It needs to be done. It can’t go on like this. MJ needs to stand up and do something about it. It’s easy to ...

Cini could be on his way to.
Chris Satae would’ve been my guess; though obviously not an Aussie.

Re: Jepson new owner

I don’t think people realise just how bad things were at the club prior to MJ’s arrival - I certainly didn’t. I’m not going to post things I’ve been told, but every aspect you can think of; has been run down, mis-managed or both. To say that the general day to day running of the club has been a sham...

Re: Quota Spots

I have to say that I don't agree with a lot of this . A bit knee-jerk reaction imo and completely different to the comments we were getting after the KR game . Ok we are all disappointed after the Saints game and there are clearly weaknesses that need to be addressed . Asi is class and will settle ...

Re: Wilson it’s time to go

He certainly talks a good talk. Reading between the lines, sounds to me no one wants to come. Problem is quality available players in this country are as rare as rocking horse droppings and clubs don’t want to let good ones go. It becomes a bidding war and with someone like Oledzski he was never le...

I’d like to think we would be prepared to make an offer for Brad Singleton & or Joe Bullock should Salford have to make any cuts as any move for Matty English, loan or otherwise, will have been dashed due to George Kings injury.

This could be a masterstroke! I haven’t felt this positive about a staff appointment like this, in I don’t know how long. I really hope this is a sign of things to come from MJ. Finally we have someone who knows the value in appointing the right people with the right skillset. - Matt Ellis at Wakefi...

Re: Martin jepson

Heard he's trying to get his mate Steve Parish, the Crystal Palace owner and chairman on board in some capacity too. I’m sure I recall on one of the COYF podcats that MJ said he’d had a friend of his from Crystal Palace down to have a look at how the club does things & where they could improve ...

Re: IMG in or out

Let’s be honest; we’ve been. Bit of a basket case club for a couple of years. Here’s my two Penneth for what it’s worth: 1. We didn’t invest in the academy under DP & the repercussions were that talented local juniors went elsewhere. The general lack of interest from the club really tarnished th...

Re: Our attendance average.

I get the argument that crowds have looked inflated this year as it has, at times, looked more sparse than in recent years. What I think is more likely though is that previous announced bigger attendances were wrong. Think about it; we’re in agreement that it would be silly to announce over what you...

Being linked with another player in the press isn’t cutting it for me personally & I’d like think I’m usually level headed where the club are concerned.

Re: Daejarn Asi

I really hope the club have learned from the Kayal Iro situation. Too much press coverage before any deal was done led to fans’ hopes being dashed. This move has the potential to open old wounds for the BoD if he doesn’t sign. Fans are desperate for some good news on the signings front & Asi wou...

Haven’t seen him play, but can’t argue with the pedigree - right age, right position & has played NRL. I’m sure I e read somewhere that he has his own podcast too; would he be able to pursue this if he came to SL? Could be a factor in his decision making.

Obviously! I was making suggestions for if SM did indeed leave Cas as the rumour suggested. I’m not proposing they should let me pick! Though it would be nice if they did!

Surely we’d be reaching out to either Mike Eccles &/or Ryan Sheridan.
