Giants Grab the Game
At Half-Time the Tigers looked to have a promising lead after Wainwright put one over the line at 12 minutes and McGoldrick added another two for Cas', of which Sherwin converted 2 to make it 16-0.
The Second Half looked bleak from the off, with the Tigers loosing a lot of possession meaning the Giants had a chance, and they used it scoring 26 points in the first 28 minutes of the second half. With just a few minutes to go, the Giants went over the line again to ensure the win and make it 16-30 at full time.

Castleford vs. Featherstone
Just 7 minutes into the Game and Michael Korkidas had his Debut try for the Tigers which was converted by Kirk Dixon. Just 11 minutes later and new lad Tom Harberecht took the ball over the line on 18 minutes, Dixon then converted it making it 2.
Tommy Saxton, the former Tigers star dived over the Featherstone try line and the try was converted closing the lead to 12-6 at the Half Time Whistle.
Saxton made it 2 for Fev early in the second half, this was then followed by Carl Hughes which left Cas’ trailing 18-12. The Tigers then picked up their game and fought back and were then rewarded when Anthony Thackeray and Joe Westerman crossed the try line. Both of these trys were goaled by Joe and once again Cas’ lead with a 24-18 lead. The game wasn’t over there though, much to the dismay of the Cas’ fans. Former Tigers’ player Sean Hesketh scored a try for Featherstone, which was then goaled. This left the score, at full time, Castleford Tigers 24 and Featherstone Rovers 24.
