CLINICAL BULLS PILE PRESSURE ON TIGERS

Bradford bulls came back from an early 10 point defecit to run in 8 tries past the bottom club Castleford to heap more pressure on Tigers coach Terry Matterson.

The Tigers coach was met with a chorus of Boo's as he crossed the field at half time and full time as he saw his side ripped apart by a clinical Bulls outfit.

Castleford missing star half back Brent Sherwin through injury and Matt Cook, who was ineligible to play against the club he is loaned from, started the game very well and looked dangerous in the early plays.

Tigers fall to pieces in Wales

Fans of the Tigers were left contemplating their affinity with the club after yet another below-par, and to summarise somewhat shambolic and disgraceful performance, in the annual showpiece Millennium Magic event in Cardiff.

Danny Brough was the star man for the Wildcats, while the Tigers lost four players to injury throughout various periods of the games.

And it was the little Genius who got the scoreboard ticking after 5 minutes when he slotted over a simple penalty, one of ten that the tigers conceded on a day where they didn’t bother trying to help themselves.

Tigers collapse in second half

Harlequins fought back from a 14-0 half-time deficit to win their fourth-round Challenge Cup tie against Super League's bottom club Castleford.

Tries from Michael Shenton and Adam Fletcher, plus three goals, put the visitors well clear at the break.

Quins levelled after 53 minutes through Michael Worrincy and Chad Randall tries and three Rob Purdham goals.
