A Gloomy Effort

Playing on a pitch covered in a sea of mist and severley lacking the distinct qualities that helped destroy Leeds last week; Cas deserved to lose tonight. It wasn't even a great display from Hull KR, merely a poor poor effort from ourselves. KR did nothing spectacular and looked like an ordinary side who took their chances when they could.
Coming off the back of a terrfic effort last week it was simply a case of either continuing in that dazzling form or suffering from a victory 'hangover' - unfortunately, it was the latter. Cas never looked like showing the same clinical ability as was the case last week, and showed an unproffesional attitude that has often surrounded the club following on from a big scalp.

Millward gives Cas +8 start
The home side are pretty steady at the moment and have been doing things very well.
I think Castleford will take a lot from last week's first win of the year but you have to keep in mind that teams at the bottom lack consistency.
I can't see them backing-up last week's display so I am going for Hull KR to win and cover as they seem to have better strike players and better quality across the park.
With the Tigers at full strength for tonight's live game has Millward given KR the "kiss of death"?

Terry Names 19 for Sunday
Terry Matterson has named his 19-man squad for Sunday's clash with Hull KR. The 17 men that were selected for the derby match with Leeds are all included with two new additions, Anthony Thackeray and Richard Owen. Richard has recovered from an arm injury that had ruled him out of the Leeds game which the Tigers won 38-20. Your 19 man squad looks like this:
1. LUKE DORN, 2. STUART DONLAN, 3. MICHAEL SHENTON, 4. KIRK DIXON, 5. MICHAEL WAINWRIGHT, 6. ANTHONY THACKERAY, 7. BRENT SHERWIN, 8. MARK LEAFA, 9. ANDREW HENDERSON, 10. MICHAEL KORKIDAS, 11. AWEN GUTTENBEIL, 12. RYAN CLAYTON, 13. JOE WESTERMAN, 14. LIAM HIGGINS, 15. CRAIG HUBY, 16. PETER LUPTON, 20. SCOTT MOORE, 21. RICHARD OWEN, 23. RYAN McGOLDRICK.
Under new RFL laws, all clubs are to submit their 19-man squads 28 hours prior to a match
As was anticipated earlier in the week, Tom Harberecht will miss the game on Sunday.
