Shenton signs new contract

Michael Shenton has agreed a new 2 year contract with the Tigers to end any speculation of him joining Bradford. Speaking on the official website Matterson and Wright had the following to say: "Michael’s re-signing is tremendous news for the club and we know the fans will be delighted that we have been able to secure him on this new deal."

Westerman gets the call up

Tony Smith has announced his 19 man England squad for this Friday nights match against France. Since being promoted Westerman has show he's got what it takes to compete against the "big boys" and his effort has been awarded.

Tigers name 19 for Wigan

The Tigers have named the 19 man squad for tomorrows clash against Wigan. Dixon, Moore (injured) and Sargent (pending documentation) have been ruled out but Michael Korkidas, Brendan Hlad, Anthony Thackeray and Adam Fletcher return after missing last weeks match.

Sargent on his way

New signing Sargent is on his way after the club received his work permit this morning.

Sargent will fly over sometime next week to put himself it contention for a debut against Wigan Warriors at the Jungle on the 22 June.
