Board Rules (Acceptable Useage Policy) for: casforum.co.uk

By registering and continuing to use casforum.co.uk you agree to adhere to the rules of the board (the AUP) and also agree to the disclaimer set by the casforum.co.uk directorship

This is a place where fans can meet up and discuss our wonderful game. However in order for this place to be welcoming and a happy place for all, ALL USERS and moderators MUST follow a strict code of coduct.

Moderators can:

1. Edit individual posts
2. Delete individual posts entirely
3. Lock threads
4. Move/merge threads
5. Delete threads
6. Issue warnings on behalf of this board
7. Block access to user accounts
So what are the rules?

Any moderator constantly breaking the rules will have their Mod status removed

USERS Must adhere to the following:

1. Messages that promote, or that appear to promote activities that are in contradiction with UK law are prohibited on this forum i.e. Theft of intellectual property (mp3 file sharing), slander, racism, etc.
2. Messages that contain, or link to, sexually explicit images are prohibited on this forum.
3. Messages that are wholly designed to upset or cause distress to other board members are prohibited on this forum.Including libel
4. Messages that contain a level of profanity that exceeds the moderator's definition of "acceptable" are prohibited on this forum.
5. Messages that contain a level of sexual content that exceeds the moderator's definition of "acceptable" are prohibited on this forum (as a rule of thumb, anything that wouldn't get on the Beeb before nine won't get on here)
6. Thread "titles" that contain sexually explicit language or profanity, are prohibited on this forum.
7. Threads purposely created so as to enable users to reach a specific number of posts are prohibited on this forum.
8. SIGNATURE images should be no larger than 20 kilobytes, 400 pixels wide and 100 pixels high.
9. Public criticism or mocking of the moderation process is prohibited on this forum.
* Any member who has a question about the decision of a moderator should ask them via the Private Message system or contact an administrator.
10. Posts that deliberately attmept to ruin or derail a thread or are designed to kill a thread are prohibited on this forum.
11. No more than 3 word games at anyone time on a board (this is due to webspace)
12. Administrators reserve the right to read all user PM's if good reasoning is behind it. Also If an Admin asks information about PM's with good reasoning, you are obliged to answer questions.
13. Administrators word is FINAL. Any criticism publicised is prohibited.
14. Posts can only be edited upto 1 hour after posting, do not double post, just edit your existing post.
15. Avatar sizes: Max size: 150x150px | Max File size: 10kb
16. DO NOT BLOCK THE ADVERTISEMENTS - Doing so might lead to your account being suspended.
17. If the Admin place a warning in your avatar this must not be removed except by an Admin, if you chose to ignore this another warning will be issued
18. No un-authorized advertising of any site is permitted on casforum.co.uk by post or by signatue. Please ask an admin before advertising any site
19. We do have a limit on bandwidth, images posted MUST NOT be larger than 800x600 pixels. If you are unsure about re-sizing please ask an admin. (Linking external images from image hosting companies is fine)
20. Please obtain permission from the owner before posting any images that dont belong to you, casforum.co.uk does not hold any responsibility for any copyright infringements by its members.
21. Abuse or Sexually Explicit or Adult material sent by PM can lead to an immediate ban and is prohibited on this forum
22. Any post that a moderator/administrator suspects is libelous will be removed without warning. An opinion is an opinion but we do NOT allow slander
23. Text Speak is not permitted on this board or on any of the casforum.co.uk website (other than in Private Messages) 24. It is illegal for any member under 13 years old to access the message boards without having their parents/guardians fill out a COPPA form and sending it to admin@casforum.co.uk
