Re: Mane Fonua
Would be a massive coup for us would that, obviously a position we need to fill. But I'd imagine Hull would go all out for him, massive fan favourite.westerbeast wrote:Told to look for new club by Nrl side. Hull fc and Cas favourites to sign him

Re: Mane Fonua
Don’t wanna sound negative, but we just don’t sign that calibre of player.
Do hull fc need a winger, not sure they do. Unless they are moving someone on.

Re: Mane Fonua
Would be a great addition & would give us a completely different dimension in getting out our own 20 & getting through the oppositions 20.
You’d have to think Hull would be favourites & that they’d be his preferred destination though

Was thinking about this when found out he was released. However, he is still recovering from an injury and as above we don't usually sign that calibre of player. Would love him in a Cas shirt though.

Hull fans don't seem overly impressed with Bureta Faraimo and I imagine would swap him in a heartbeat for Fonua.old cas lass wrote:Don’t wanna sound negative, but we just don’t sign that calibre of player.

Where does it say this ?westerbeast wrote:Told to look for new club by Nrl side. Hull fc and Cas favourites to sign him
Re: Mane Fonua
Not seen anything other than an article that we could be possibly looking at him to strengthen our backs, but nothing more than just a suggestion. It said Hull would be his likely choice of destination in Super league. Nothing about them or us being favourites.Tigersbarmy wrote:Where does it say this ?westerbeast wrote:Told to look for new club by Nrl side. Hull fc and Cas favourites to sign him

Re: Mane Fonua
Can't see Hull coming in for Fonua. We have Ratu, Faraimo and Swift as wingers. Griffin, Tuimavave and Connor as centres with 2 kids coming through.

Naulago has only played 10 games of RL, so to see what he is already is fantastic to see. Insane speed, good strength, hits like a train, good in the air. His positioning needs some work, but we are very happy with him!
