Re: Luke Gale
Good business get Rankin Clarkson in Wardle out also got salary cap relief which I'm sure we will use before too long
The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have

Re: Luke Gale
Not doubting anyone who is "ITK". But if Wardle was to be on his way out, why has he travelled to Lanzarote with the team?
Re: Luke Gale
Happy with that tbhRonnie wrote:Deal done for the Rankin/Wardle swap deal, will be announced shortly. All makes sense with Clarkson coming in as stated on the Rumour Thread
Wardle has not lived up to expectation for whatever reason and we paid a transfer fee for him.
However it seemed the Ikahihifo deal was done and look what happened there
Re: Luke Gale
Wardle as been a BIG disappointment when we signed him I thought he would have been a great signing, the lad as been anything but, a change of club may be what he needs to recapture his form, Rankin who can cover a few positions to a good standard would be a good swap lets hope it goes through , to the lads coming out to Lanzarote the weathers perfect at the present time I hope they put it to good use
Re: Luke Gale
Same here, very happy with it in fact. Get an unhappy camper out (and I assume his wage?) A versatile back in( who from the little I have seen in past few seasons can be a v good player) Plus get gales wage to spend either new or partway through the season if someone comes up.fords wrote:Happy with that tbhRonnie wrote:Deal done for the Rankin/Wardle swap deal, will be announced shortly. Swap a back rower who isn't in our first 3 or 4 choices
For a back rower and a utility back
Same wages spent.
Smart business in my books.

What is the forum for? Sharing opinions
Opinion sharing not trading insults
Seems to becoming more frequent a nd aggressive.
Season of Goodwill over .
Hope you're recovery is both speedy and successful Luke.
I think it speaks volumes of the team and Daryls ethos with injuries and unplanned departures .
Not only have we won games but done it style.
Just an opinion.

The new season beckons.
The new ground is subject to the usual speculation.
Opinions on the ability and usefulness of Wells being called into question.
Does Powell know what he's doing not replacing Webster.
What happened to the Crystal Ball not predicting injury prone Gales long term absence.
Shares being handed out Willy Nilly.
Descent in the boardroom.
Insults traded on the Forum.
Jollies in Lanzarote.
Will they never learn.
Can't wait for the new season to begin.

What is Wells actually doing? I was excited when we made his appointment but yet he only seems to have been brought in to make announcements when the fans aren’t happy.
I have to say I was not impressed at all with this:-

Who the hell are we to start commenting on other clubs business? Leave that up to them!
We’re in no position to be commenting on other clubs.
He should be focusing on getting our own house in order as first priority.
IMO it’s in bad taste and will keep coming back to haunt him.

For one being instrumental in bringing in Watts and Mata'utia from what I heard as there were strong possibilities they went elsewhere. And Wellsy's discussions with them were big swings.JSLisnotaprop wrote:Question, casjunction wrote:The new season beckons.

He was answering a question...not delving into another Club's affairs. Both the Clubs he mentioned did need to sign players. It's a honest answer. Stop finding fault with everything.

he’s made a statement in what he believes and that has come across in bad taste and dosent sit well with me or others.
He classes us as a “very good squad” now Fryston, I have a question for you...
Would you class a very good squad one that has player bust ups on training camps and having players sent home?
I refer back to my first sentence, who the hell are we to pick faults with others?
