New season tickets
Does anyone know how the new season ticket card is going to be managed? Always been a book with a token taken out but now just a credit card type instead.
I take it new technology will need to be used to scan the cards? Not seen or heard anything though. I am only assuming this as other clubs have a scan system that needs something to scan the card with.

I would expect them all to be the same as tickets would surely be produced to be able to go through the same scanners, again as they do at other clubs.

It was a little slow at the beginning of the season mate, but soon got sorted. They just scan the QR code with a handset and through you go. It was fairly painless when the people on the turnstiles got used to it.Lofthouse Tiger wrote:Ok well I never renewed so didn’t know that. So how did it work then?
Re: New season tickets
we had no problems after the first few weeks
Re: New season tickets
As above, no problems once it got sorted out. Don't know if you'll be after any junior away swops? But all you do is take junior season ticket into shop to get your away ticket.

Re: New season tickets
I must be one of them scrubbers
I let my other daughter use season ticket when other one can't make it to games.
Where's the harm in it? I'll carry on doing it with the new card as well until I get caught. :-" Like I did last season

Re: New season tickets
The cards aren't monitored that closely anyway. My mums ticket is a concession one and our lass, who was 37 then, used it for one game when Mum couldn't make it. Unless living with me has made her look 65! Nothing wrong with it when the ticket has already been paid for anyway, it's another person in the stands cheering the lads on.
