sorry I must have misworded the topic, I have no information either way, I know for a fact fans at Wakefield and Feath meet up and do odd jobs, with the state of Weldon Road and the number of retired fans I thought they could be used to spruce the old girl up whilst we are waiting to move, I was asking if we had such a task force, once again sorry

how come Fev have managed to steadily improve their facilities into what now looks like a Super League standard ground when we can't even spruce up our bogs?

Have you read the informed postings that there is no need to upgrade anything, including the delapidated embarrassing toilets l, because we are “Moving to a new ground”.

I wish you would all listen to the people that know these things

RE toilets, I have always thought if the directors and their wife's stood during the matches with the fans and used the facilities they do things would soon change, when I started this topic, I thought with the amount of skilled and unskilled labour that our retired fans have outstanding jobs like the toilets could be tackled in the close season , as no one as answered Re question have we a task force the answer must be no

It seems our "FANS" want the ground to fail and are happy about it

Yay, go team!!!

Move to a new ground (free no less) and be able to match Leeds and others getting marquee players.

Or stay, mortgage the life out of us and still there's not enough room and lose our training pitch.

Hmmm

Why would you expect the fans to give up their time to do jobs at the ground when the the people running the club will not spend anything on it,the toilets are disgrace and have been for years, perhaps mr Fulton could spend a little of the interest he has received from his loan and make them presentable.

I don't know a fan that would not love to be moving into a new stadium, but whilst we wait a few minor improvements at Weldon road would not go amiss, it seems years since I bought two bricks to be put into the new stadium

lets hope something as being done in the off season to improve the toilet facilitys for next year ...ive got into a routine of bobbing into boot room for a pee about 7.15 then using willpower not to use the khazi until i get home ;)

ab-so-lutely mate.

I find it extremely distasteful that Ian Fulton decides to continue to earn interest on a loan from something his Father loved dearly and wanted the very best for.

It deserves a topic of its own with the spotlight highlighting the full details and ramifications of it.

In fact, topic opening....

I'm not sure of your gender, so if you are female, I understand.
I use the gents and whilst not the Savoy, the portacabin one near the scoreboard is fine, the one behind Princess St. is ok, as is the one near the main stand.
I've never felt I need to avoid going, although in all my years since 1958, I've never needed more than a pee!

I can't speak for the female toilets as I've never been in them, but I have absolutely no problems using any of the gents around the ground. I don't go in them to socialise, it's in and out and they do the job. Granted they are outdated, but what do people want?

around 9 years ago i did several days voluntary work for Cas & i believe it was the gentleman who posts as "Casmania" who put out a request on this forum on behalf of the club for help around the ground & this was under the then ceo Richard Wright. I swept the entire terracing whilst at the same time i did a ground safety audit with points raised being actioned by Richard Wright. I also cleared a large amount of rubbish from around the ground as i went along, what i saw whilst doing this work left me in no doubt that the ground has had its day & that was 9 years ago.

i was happy to do this as i felt strongly about the then state of the ground & i wanted to help the club, but as far as i know, nothing regarding voluntary work has been done or requested since.
