Is Miller a first time offender? If so he may just get a fine.

Miller charged but gets a 0 Match Penalty Notice - on RFL disciplinary page.

Huby - no charge.

Matautia - no charge.

Weather forecast suggests it could be a wet nite so great chance to practice our wet weather game plan.

I thought that only the League Leaders' Shield winners won prize money (£100k) and that all the other places didn't?

You get higher level of broadcast money (I think) based on where you finish. Or additional prize money on top of that based on where you finish. There’s definitely value to finishing high as possible below the top 4.

Grand Final winners get highest prize money, runners up 2nd, then highest placed loser 3rd and lowest 4th.

So say we win the GF against Wire, we would be 1st, Wire 2nd, Saints 3rd, Wigan 4th

On the 40/20 podcast they said an extra 25k for finishing 5th rather than 6th for wakey. I couldn't find the breakdown but you get 100k prize for winning the lls, the same as the grand final.

Thought the Grand Final was £150,000 for winners, £100K for runners up with the losing semi finalists getting £75 or is this on top of league finishing position money?
5th place recieves £75K , 6th gets £50K , 7th £25K with 8th nothing.

I'm sure Wigan will find a use for it after the semi!

Tonight will be a forwards battle. They've definitely got the bigger pack, but we've got the more mobile skilled pack. Should be a good game for the neutrals.

You might be right, couldn't find the figures. The incentive for getting a place up the table is there. It's up to us to build a team for the playoffs and weather like this can only help. It caught us out last year.

Just seen the field, it looks perfect. No standing water on it at all, though I expect it to be very spongy.
Praying we have no more rain tonight.
