Grand final winners

Post by Robbo » 10 Sep 2018, 22:12

Ok I will be the first to say it but I think we will sneak up unloved and unnoticed and create a shock by winning our first GF
Last year was outstanding but we blobbed on the big stage ( still think the off field events created massive problems) but I really fancy us this time round.
Prefer Wigan first but to win it Yorkshire needs to beat the big boys.
Let’s go do this.

Wouldn't that be just fine....??!!

Like your post - I think that everyone connected with the club needs this ethos for the next 5 weeks - then it's party time at Robbo's.....

Predicting Cas v Wire final. Saints have looked quite beatable recently and I think Wire might just take the spoils in the semi's.

Get past Wigan and we're in a good position to lift the trophy.

Think as many players as possible should be rested when we play Saints last game of the super 8s season.

We don't cope so well with a week layoff. Saints have gone all season as strong as possible and they are looking like fading now. There only 5 matches left, gotta keep the pedal down and keep continuity.

I still find it all surreal, that we are once again, 80 minutes away from Old Trafford. I always thought we'd be a small team, just about getting by, scrapping near the bottom of the table year in year out and I accepted that. I’ve travelled to Whitehaven in the freezing cold and Wales on a Sunday afternoon in the NL1. I've been to Headingley and the Old Knowsley Road and seen us ship 70 on many occasions. I've Seen countless journeymen come through the door and seen players, who have been totally out of their depth thrown in to make the numbers up.

Your Wigans, Saints, Leeds fans who ridicule us will never have to go through this, which makes it all the sweeter that we are now in the mix for the top prizes.

I got 5 but price may have come in a bit.
Think a full 80 mins will give us a victory.
Anyone remember the first game at their new Home when we beat them with at least 4000 Cas fans there. Happy days

That was a gritty performance. Betts scored early too and you sensed they that they would walk it. Remember going potty when Cowie knocked on from the drop out in last minute. Scenes.

It was a great feeling to beat them at their new ground in the first match. Great atmosphere.
