Re: Injuries
Especially if you make it clear that you are a specialist back rower and when you last played prop it was at Under 11sduke street 10 wrote:anybody who fancies playing prop on friday take yours boots down to the ground with you...could get a game
Re: Injuries
I will put my house on coming top 4. We are still 4 wins clear of Huddersfield due to our superior PD. 2 wins for us and 1 loss for Hudds would be enough.stuey wrote:Does that make it ten injured.
Minniken, Gale, Roberts, QLT, PM, Millington, Foster, Cook, JSL, Moors.
We need some of them back PDQ or we can forget the top 4.

I played in the halves/hooker, but have put a bit of timber on since then so I might qualify - ball playing front rowerSuffolkTiger wrote:Especially if you make it clear that you are a specialist back rower and when you last played prop it was at Under 11sduke street 10 wrote:anybody who fancies playing prop on friday take yours boots down to the ground with you...could get a game

He does tend to end up in one after each match but plays the next.RonnieGibbs'forearm wrote:No official word on Jesse but on social media he has posted messages alluding the fact that hehas been dealt a big blow and then posted pics in which he is wearing a leg/knee brace.
I wonder if it's a penalty for the players for something. Some clubs have a crap car for the worst dressed or trainer to drive. Maybe we give a leg brace instead. Ha ha

Re: Injuries
Richard Marshal has done a fantastic job at Halifax. On a tiny budget, compared to Toronto, Leigh, London Fev etc he has got them into the top four. So why does he keep playing (indeed starting with) someone who is not even Championship standard?casjunction wrote:Posted elsewhere.

Interesting that you can conclude that after one televised game, against the dominant team in their division.casjunction wrote:Posted elsewhere.

I'm not saying you're wrong mind, just highlighting that you're not exactly basing your opinion on much evidence.
That he is not Super League standard is a very fair claim, but Halifax seem to think he is championship standard...

Re: Injuries
I would describe Maher as a steady championship prop at best.

Re: Injuries
Not based on one game .
Seen the lad enough at Cas .
However watching him at The Shay gaspng for breath in the dug out just in front of me and speaking with fax fans at half time they were not in raptures about him .
So much as l would like to see the lad succeed,he is not the answer in the short term or in my opinion the long term.
