That is the kind of attitude you want to hear as a fan from your coach. Give the man a 10 year contract. That kind of attitude should almost certainly fire up the boys on Sunday, as it should.

I'll sleep better when Leeds sign a new full time coach :)

Leeds to make a significant announcement tomorrow regarding their coach.

Rumours are that it’s either Tony Smith or Denis Betts until the end of the season.

I reckon Lowes until the end of the season and then Furner with Lowes as his assistant.

I completely agree, however I think Orr knows he has a job for life at Cas and if / when Powell does go, he will be front runner to replace him.

Don’t see that combo changing a great deal reguarding matters on the field, not straight away. It’s the player that aren’t performing.
Just hope we rip into them come 3.30 on Sunday.

Is DP's lad a sporty type? In York there's Ethelbert's, it's a fee paying school that I believe do sports scholarships amongst of course other things, my nephew went there on Rugby union type scholarship, they have links with Leeds rugby union (who he's played for in the U19's or some such level) who used to have links with the Rhino's, coincidence?
These courses are available at just about every school now. My lad has an option to go to the Cas college as he wants to go into physiotherapy or similar and play rugby league. We have friends whose son is going to QEGS on a rugby union scholarship.

It should make for an interesting match up on Sunday.

I can guarantee 100% - no more no less - from our friends at Headingley.

I can almost also guarantee a fight, or series of fights, in this game; you’ll have blokes like Ferres, Delaney, Ablett, cutherbertson, running around like men possessed trying to show sinfield they’d die for the shirt and we all know the tactics Lowes likes to utilise.

Some may say the smart money would be on a Leeds win. I do hope we can match them. It will be very tough, I’m going 34-30 to Cas.

Might be worth a bet Leeds going unbeaten for a good while if they get past us.

I’m not a Leeds hater really, a strong Leeds is a great scalp for us when we beat them.

Lad in the Cas Shop said Rhinos usually fetch about 2000 with them but they had only sold over 500 tickets up to this morning and that was before the Sinfield announcement so who knows how many turn up !

I wonder who Brian McDermott would ‘rather be coaching’?

Or coach driving... (All due respect to coach drivers by the way - especially those who have taken me on rugby trips over the years...)
