World Cup
May as well start a topic if anyone is interested.
What a game that just was. Unreal. Ronaldo showing the world why he is the best. Down to you tomorrow now Messi.

Re: World Cup
Ronaldo is the best. Performs on every level. Messi goes missing at international level when he doesn't have the players he has at Barcelona to help him.

Ye, Ronaldo stats-wise is in contention to be the best goal scorer of all time. But so is Messi, and he plays from deeper. Messi is often the best centre midfielder, winger, playmaker and forward all in the same match.

Re: World Cup
Let’s just agree they are the best two players of this generation. My Salah suggestion was just a joke as I’m a Liverpool fan . In 5 years time it maybe Neymar and Salah . Just appreciate them while they’re here .
Re: World Cup
They're 2 of the best players of all time imo.
Unfortunately I doubt we'll see Salah get anywhere near becoming the best in the world in a Liverpool shirt.

Re: World Cup
The presenters on BBC Breakfast need to give their heads a good shake. Yes its good that Southgate is giving youth the chance, and appear to have a game plan but i won't get carried away until we play Belgium and possibly Colombia or Senegal in the last 16.InTheKnow wrote:Only Panama....

Yesterdays result isn't even close to beating the Dutch in 1996 or Germany in 2001.

Re: World Cup
I think it's alot more enjoyable this year for us since the expectations have probably been the lowest in the last 25 years lol
And we seem to actually be playing a nice brand of footie for a change
