I think we all got a little carried away watching PNG in the world cup.nottinghamtiger wrote:Mead is an excellent player. Peter Mata’utia is very good. I know he signed for Leigh before their relegation, but I’m surprised he’s happy playing at Championship level.
they just haven't backed that form up when coming to super league.

I didn’t really see PNG play in the World Cup, but I saw Mead playing for Gold Coast and was very impressed.lurcher wrote:I think we all got a little carried away watching PNG in the world cup.nottinghamtiger wrote:Mead is an excellent player. Re: Brayden Wiliame
Anyone actually thought of the cost of bringing mead in? He didn't leave the nrl for a couple of quid and the love of a poor climate also he's now 30+ hasn't nailed the full back slot for a while now blows hot and cold like benny imo money better placed elsewhere in all honesty I'd like to see how qlt goes if he goes well I'd be tempted for another year and give Turner a two year pro deal that will give him time to develope. However I have a feeling we may have missed the boat on Turner and he may be a player that comes back to bite us in the rear in years to come.nottinghamtiger wrote:I didn’t really see PNG play in the World Cup, but I saw Mead playing for Gold Coast and was very impressed.lurcher wrote:I think we all got a little carried away watching PNG in the world cup.nottinghamtiger wrote:Mead is an excellent player. Are you saying Turner is wanting to leave or has a deal elsewhere?betts21 wrote:Anyone actually thought of the cost of bringing mead in? Re: Brayden Wiliame
Not a clue but he is one player out of the 19s that had looks like he could be something special and had for the last year or so and I for one can not understand why he hasn't got a pro contract yet unless he's already invested in things away from the game similar to ash Robson. The bottom line is with some hard work and a good team of players and coaches around him I could see him been a top class one his attacking play is effortless as so far mainly in the u19s but he picks the passes with ease and creates gaps for fun and we've all seen a small glimpse of what he can do at 1st team level.

Re: Brayden Wiliame
Our offer to Williame is now off the table. Tigers have waited for his decision but nothing has happened and we will now look elsewhere.
Re: Brayden Wiliame
