Says In the paper tomorrow we are looking at a young full back from Newcastle Knight’s
Re: Matt Cooper
Baffles me when we have our own young internstional Fullback waiting in the wings.

Re: Matt Cooper
Everybody knows we need a fullback and will be linked with all of them.
I'd certainly like a young nrl fullback as long as Turner gets enough of a shot to give us options and at least cover.

He has played 2 games it is premature to say we don't need a full back.turner will get his chance and is good backup.Nobody wrote:Baffles me when we have our own young internstional Fullback waiting in the wings.

Didn't say we don't need one but what's the difference in Cooper and Turner.classysupercas3 wrote:He has played 2 games it is premature to say we don't need a full back.turner will get his chance and is good backup.Nobody wrote:Baffles me when we have our own young internstional Fullback waiting in the wings.

Both of them have similar experience.

Re: Matt Cooper
We need competition for the full-back spot and both of them being young will mean they're both busting a gut (hopefully) to make the position their own. IF we are after Cooper, I'd expect him to be using us - like many others - as a springboard back to the NRL so Turner will have the spot as his in a few years.Nobody wrote:Didn't say we don't need one but what's the difference in Cooper and Turner.classysupercas3 wrote:He has played 2 games it is premature to say we don't need a full back.turner will get his chance and is good backup.Nobody wrote:Baffles me when we have our own young internstional Fullback waiting in the wings.

Cooper also looks to have big raps down under with some really eye-catching stats too, which is good. Young, enthusiastic and both have the potential to be full-backs for the foreseeable future.
In the spirit of the final Blackadder episode - Goooodbyeee!

Always wonder where and how the names crop up that we’re interested in.
Agent talk perhaps. Might even be BS just to boost a contract offer elsewhere.
Let’s be honest, we’ll be stung for contract requests of 25% above Face value for a FB ?

I think that's the most likely explanation.Mysterio wrote:Always wonder where and how the names crop up that we’re interested in.
