Yeah cost me a nice bet lol. Just had 30 on Exmoor Mist at 2/1 so it's slowly turning round. I'll tip Grand Vision in Foxhunters

Could kick myself. Backed Balnaslow last year at 20s and flew home from about 30 length back and got beat half a length. Don't know why I didn't back it. Just had a nice winner at Taunton. Rock and Roll, 4yr old good form Paul Nicholls. Went off 11/2 in a 5 horse race.KB80 wrote:Dont think ive ever picked the winner of a Hunters Chase, today is no exception!takethetwo wrote:Yeah cost me a nice bet lol. Gutting with Barnslow! Nowt worse. I'm annoyed I didn't give Finians Oscar another chance (changed my mind to Cyrename and don't really know why!). I had a couple of glances at Rock and Roll but saved my ammo for Aintree ](*,)takethetwo wrote:Could kick myself. Slightly frustrating day, but managed a bit of profit thanks to luck and Katie Mai doing the business (got 11/4 antipost) and realised when I logged into my account Id accidentally backed it twice!! She was also the 1st leg of a lucky 15 with Sam Spinner, Danny Kirwan and on the Blind Side so fingers crossed! As for my comment that Dissavil was a live danger, the less said the better (it finished last of the 20, 17 lengths behind second to last and a time zone away from the winner!)

Also fairly keen on Polidam, OK Corral, wouldn't be surprised to see Minds eye outrun his 20/1 odds either in the 2.20.

Good look mate. Backed OK Corral and was pretty keen on it, but looking at that ground I'm less sure now. Santini will definately go on it.takethetwo wrote:£10 Win Santini

Re: April Tipping Comp
WOW awful run by Kirwan, lost a bit of confidence based on ground but that was truly awful for a fairly well hyped horse!KB80 wrote:£10 win Danny Kirwan 5.15 Aintree

Been a poor Aintree so far, although fortunately had a secondary bet on Ultragold in the big handicap which has brought me near enough evens for the day and slightly in profit over the two. Saving all my luck for the big one

Re: April Tipping Comp
I've told everyone I know to back Blaklion each way . Cant see it out of first 4 . Honestly can't see it getting beat , only Annibale Fly to worry about IMO. Been having just a fiver each way every day I'm near a bookies . So far I've got 85 each way ranging from 10s to 14s. Probably another 20 each way tomorrow and a saver on Annibale . Would make the month a very good one lol .KB80 wrote:WOW awful run by Kirwan, lost a bit of confidence based on ground but that was truly awful for a fairly well hyped horse!KB80 wrote:£10 win Danny Kirwan 5.15 Aintree

Re: April Tipping Comp
I've had a decent day today, 4 places and a winner in an e/w lucky 31.
Not had time to get on here today until now so I'll go with Wigan +6 (8/13) and Villa (2/5) to make it a bad night for Leeds!

Re: April Tipping Comp
Blaklion's got to be in with a good shout but I'm of a mind to think his best chance was last year (that's not to say I won't change my mind tommorow). Usually throw a few darts at the national (Bet365 cracking offer essentially doubles your stake money which helps). I Just backed the 2 horses last year in One for Arthur and Blaklion. Stuck to the 2 because I was so keen on One for Arthur and had him in mind for the race well in advance, Blaklion was a saver bet on the day. Likely to end up with 4 runners tommorow, backed 3 already and one or two are still nagging at me!takethetwo wrote:I've told everyone I know to back Blaklion each way . Cant see it out of first 4 . I've backed:
Annibale Fly already a) because it nearly shares the daughters name, Annabella (glad I didn't call her Double Ross) and b) I genuinely think he's in with a fair shout if the Gold Cup didn't take too much.
Baie Des Iles, usually jumps soundly, will stay and should get the ground. Had more rest than most of the market principles.
Pleasent Company. 11/1 last year and looked to be traveling until he missed a jump and nearly went down. Plugged on to finish 9th. At 33/1 this year he could be decent value (although form over the last 12 months is week) he's a pound lower and likes the mud.
The ones nagging at me (as well as Blaklion) are:
Seeyouatmidnight- looks to.have been laid out for this and has taken some notable scalps before. Grounds not a problem and he certaimly has some class. That said he's maybe a bit short now.
Shantou Flyer - consistent, should stay, impressed by Cheltenham run. Big place chances just not sure he quite has enough to be a serious win contender.
Saints Are - likely to outrun price
