any body else notice that when talking about hardaker they mention he's facing a 2/3 year ban. I thought it was a max 2 year ban, especially if its his 1st offence. or is it?

The key comment on there is the one about other anchor tennants being announced next month. I was talking to someone who has some knowledge of this development and he was saying that talks were at an advanced stage with numerous parties and whilst confidence is high it’s not quite done yet. The stadium hinges on those contracts being signed, once they are it is all systems go although the dates aren’t set in stone. Fingers crossed there’s no more hitches and we can crack on.

Feel good factor restored for me , bringing jon wells in a clever move , obvious the kind of player we were missing soon as a good one becomes available were in splashing the cash , clear roberts is not long term option at full back so we make a play for obrien when that fails were in for evalds
Well done cas keep it up guys

I'm not getting Nudes (Hudds) posts either. Can someone explain the the situation concerning a club signing Hardacre within the ban period. Or now if it comes to it. All very odd!

Steve clarified the position on Zak Hardaker, saying he had been dismissed by the club and it had been a board decision. The club found him a job with a sponsor and in January offered him a new contract, but he refused it and is now open to offers from other clubs.
Interesting that we have offered him a deal - but he refused it. Must be Wigan bound IMO.

This offer was put to Zak before we sacked him

I’m baffled why we made him an offer when we didn’t and still don’t know what his ban is gonna be.
Was the offer to start after his ban

Looks like hes put the vee’s up at us.
Nice to see the remorse in him.......not.

I don't know, but I guess the offer would have been a much lower wage whilst banned, or something similar.

I wanted us to keep him but im glad hes gone now however it played out , i think once we get the next long term fullback in place we will be better than last year and keep moving onwards
