Re: Olly Holmes
Was expecting it based on what I saw at the game, but haven't seen a replay to say whether it was actually as bad as it looked.the machine wrote:Oliver Holmes (Castleford Tigers) has been referred to Tuesday's (March 13) Independent Operational Rules Tribunal for a Grade D Dangerous Throw charge in the Betfred Super League fixture against Salford Red Devils on Sunday March 11.

It looked bad from where i was stood. I was expecting a red card.
Re: Olly Holmes
i cant remember Oliver being up before in front of the disciplinary panel before he is not a dirty player he just got the tackle wrong , my bet is a couple of weeks on the side lines

Re: Olly Holmes
Grade D is 3-5 matches isn’t it? If he appeals he can get an extra game under the new system too if he loses.
My expectation is that we will settle for a 3 match ban and that Moors will be back in and Foster will start. Possibly a recall for Gadwin now he’s back fit too.

Re: Olly Holmes
Didn't look great so doubt we will see him again before easter. Foster started against Salford so with Wardle still missing I would like to see JSL back to his best position of the back row. So only change for Wigan game would be Moors coming back in for Olly.HuddsTigers wrote:Grade D is 3-5 matches isn’t it? If he appeals he can get an extra game under the new system too if he loses.

Re: Olly Holmes
Seeing that we are more than likely to be losing Holmes, I would like to see both Moors and Gadwin in the team, when Salford brought there interchange forwards on, as a group our forwards were second best with only Millington and Mc Shane matching their forwards

Re: Olly Holmes
Can’t see gadwin being brought straight back in once he is fit.I reckon a couple of weeks at Halifax to get match fit Is likely.
After all the good reports from fev Id quite like to see Mitch Clarke given a chance to show what he can do.

Apperntley Gadwin was a monster for Halifax against Leigh at the weekend.Castiger2017 wrote:Can’t see gadwin being brought straight back in once he is fit.I reckon a couple of weeks at Halifax to get match fit Is likely.

Re: Olly Holmes
I thought it looked bad live and thought red card. 2 match ban if lowest available as he has no history.
Personally, if Wardle isn't fit, I'd put Jesse there. We were real good at the start of last year with him running the lines on the left.

Re: Olly Holmes
Downgraded to grade B after we challenged the grading.
One game suspension.
Bit worrying that the first panel got it wrong by two grades.

One match ban £500 fine
All due Daryl presenting a strong case to the panel.
Still could be appealed by the disciplinary board
